Ski pistes are located in two main ski - centres- Chalin Valog and Shiligarnika whilst the region is also home to The Pirin Mountain, which has a highest peak of 2914 m. The resort has excellent snow conditions with great snow cover from December until May and mild winter conditions making skiing an enjoyable experience.
The town of Bansko itself, has around 120 cultural and historical monuments leaving holidaymakers with plenty of things to explore including the Remains from ancient fortresses in the Staroto Gradishte & the National Park Pirin where lakes, waterfalls, caves, venerable trees and historical sites are all present.
Overall the town of Bansko is perfect all members of the family and there are many Chalets, holiday cottages and self-catering rentals available, which will cater to the needs of every individual holidaymaker.
