This traditional Languedoc village house in the very charming village of Creissan, is situated between the mountains of the Parc Naturel, and the Mediterranean sea, 25 mins from either, and settled amongst vineyards as far as the eye can see, ideally placed for the holiday maker, and close to so many interesting amenities and attractions.
This totally restored and newly furnished property is set on 3 levels.
There is a comfortable spacious salon, for relaxation, with TV, DVD player, cassette/radio and CD player. Adjoining the salon is the dining area with seating for 6 persons.
There is a fully equiped kitchen, with a washing machine, fridge/freezer, cooker hob, microwave/oven, toaster, etc.
A marble spiral stairway leads to 3 roomy bedrooms, 2 double, 1 single. There is a tiled washroom with a hand basin and enclosed shower, with a seperate WC. Outside is a small but pleasant courtyard.
Creissan provides a bakers, grocers, post office, florists, hairdressers, newsagent/tobacconists, wine caves, and a bar for refreshments.

Local activities in and around Creissan, Languedoc-Roussillon
In the park just across the square in Creissan village, there is a 25 metre communal swimming pool, a boules square, also a open-air theatre showing intermittent performances, plus other attractions, there is another park close to the house, where musical events are held, for example, the 'vin festivale'.
Creissan is ideally situated for a most enjoyable holiday, whether for peace and quiet, country walks, cycling, or horse riding, or just strolling by the Canal du Midi, or watching the canal boats at nearby Capestang, from the restaurant/bars, overlooking the water.
Just a short drive to the sandy beaches that stretch along the coast for miles, where there are a number of seaside towns with excellent family seaside activities.
But not forgetting the cultural side of this region too, with museums, abbeys, monasteries, chateaux, and the old towns and villages themselves.
Herault is renowned for its water activities, white water rafting, canoeing and kayaking, there are many good observation areas near Creissan, with free picnic/barbeque spots.
The Languedoc parc naturel, is not far, and visible from Creissan, and is a stunning area of natural beauty, (mountains, caverns, and grottos), well worth exploring.
Then of course there are the wine caves, dotted around Creissan (there are 3 in the village itself), where wine tasting and purchasing of wines at low prices is not to be missed.
Many information leaflets are provided at the house, but there are a number of tourist information offices close to Creissan, for a much wider appreciation of the area, catering for all ages, and tastes.
