Finca del Rio is a newly constructed traditional style country home. Finished in January 2005 and is a true gem!! Beamed ceilings and terracotta floors are the main theme of this delightful property, stunningly furnished and equipped to the highest standard.
Finca del Rio derives its name from the fact that it lies alongside a wonderful ravine which has water running most of the year. The wild flowers in Springtime are spectacular.

The main entrance opens onto a large open plan living/dining room and an "open plan kitchen area. Fully equipped, one will want for nothing!! There are four bedrooms (two doubles and two twins) and two fully fitted bathrooms (both with a hydro-massage bath!!). All fixtures and fittings are made by a local carpenter and the property is filled with character!
An exceptional property for a larger family or for two families with one or two children each. The property has full central heating making it ideal for those seeking winter sunshine.
The 8m X 4m swimming pool is fully fenced, thus making the property ideal for those with younger children.
Finca del Rio is made for "al fresco" living, with a lovely terrace in front of the house with a built in barbecue. From the terraces the local flora and fauna and house's own olive groves compliment the beautiful natural surroundings. The views from the pool area and covered terraces are beautiful. The stunning views to the El Torcal Park and sweeping valleys , all the way to the Med, will take your breath away.
Under the management of the award winning hotel La Posada del Torcal, located a 10 minutes drive from Finca del Rio. Guests of the house may also use some of the facilities of the hotel at extra cost. Available is horse riding, tennis, mountain bike hire, video rental, and spa treatments (the Hotel Pool is for the exclusive use of Hotel Guests). Daily maid service and babysitters can be requested also. The Hotel has an excellent restaurant for lunch or dinner .
Finca del Rio is located close by to our other 4 bedroom country villa - although not in viewing distance and combining the 2 houses for a larger group has been a popular option.

Rental Notes: To make a reservation for a Rustic Cool Rental villa 35% of the total amount due is payable at the moment you make your reservation. This deposit is non refundable.
The balance will become due 8 weeks before your arrival date. Failure to pay the balance on the due date may result in your reservation being cancelled. We do strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance before you make your reservation so that in the event you find it necessary to cancel your holiday, you can reclaim your deposit and/or balance paid from the travel insurance company. Receipts will be issued for all payments.
Check in times are from 4pm onwards on your arrival date. Check out time 11am on the day of departure. Whenever possible, please inform us of your estimated time of arrival and the number in your party, we can then monitor arrivals and leave lights on etc in case of delayed or late arrivals.
During July and August, we only accept arrivals on Saturdays.
