Chalet Deffert is a recently renovated 6 bedroom chalet located in the very heart of Morzine. You will be truely hard pushed to find a more central location than this. Located on the street running from the main Pleney gondola to the Tourist Office, Chalet Deffert provides the ideal location for a self-catering holiday.
The chalet is set out over 4 floors. On the ground floor there's an open plan kitchen and dining area, perfect for any gourmet chefs that want to eat in during the evenings.
There's also a lounge area equipped with a TV/DVD player and a selection of board games, providing the perfect place to wind down after a day on the slopes.
There are 6 bedrooms in the chalet, and each floor has a separate toilet and shower room.
On the lower floor there is the last bedroom plus a sauna with shower and a kit store for skis/boards and boots.

Morzine / Avoriaz offers some of the best skiing in the world, in one of the worlds largest ski areas.
Positioned on the Northern end of the Alps, with numerous stunning views over Mont Blanc, the Portes Du Soleil is a unique area covering 12 linked resorts spread over France and Switzerland.
With 650km of slopes linked together in the region, you can be sure that there will be something for everyone's tastes. Whether you prefer cruising wide open motorway pistes, narrow off piste tree runs, or steep bumpy mogul fields (the 'wall' run into Switzerland needs to be seen to be believed!), you are guaranteed to find something to your liking.
There are 2 snow parks in Avoriaz alone, La Chappelle is ideal for beginners or intermediate riders or skiers, whereas the Arare park is aimed at the more advanced.
For the pro-level riders & skiers or those that just want to see what can be done on skis or a snowboard, the nearby parks in Les Crossets and Chatel are the places to be. All of the parks contain jumps, hips, and rails, and there is the occasional boarder cross course thrown in for good measure
For people who prefer to be out on the mountain rather than in a park, you'll find the terrain to be amazing for all snow users. Unique to the Portes Du Soleil are Snow cross runs. These are self-contained slopes that haven't been prepared by any piste-bashers. They provide skiers and snowboarders with all the sensations of being in powdery snow without the associated risks of being off-piste. They are avalanche controlled and have all hazards marked making a much safer alternative to going off piste. There are 4 such runs within the Avoriaz area, all graded as usual ranging from blue through to black.
For the more experienced skiers and boarders, there are masses of off-piste routes throughout the region although we would recommend hiring a fully qualified mountain guide before venturing anywhere off-piste.
