This charming country cottage is situated in a small tranquil hamlet, half an hour south of Cherbourg, 2 miles east of Sainte-Mere-Eglise, less than 3 miles from the wide sandy Normandy landing beaches. Relax in the quiet garden or explore the historic and picturesque sites of the region.

This traditional stone cottage has two spacious living-rooms, one with French doors leading to the large secluded garden, where you can dine al fresco using the BBQ.
There is a big kitchen on the ground floor, with two spacious bedrooms on the first floor. Both bedrooms have top quality pocket sprung double beds, king-size and standard-size respectively. The second bedroom also has full length pine bunk beds + an optiional baby cot.
In additon, there is a sofabed in the sitting room overlooking the garden, which can be used as a 3rd bedroom.
There is a video and DVD player, a library of videos and DVDs, plus a CD/radio/cassette player. The kitchen is well-equipped for dining in, but local restaurants serve excellent fare, so don't miss out!
Two miles away in Sainte-Mere-Eglise there are shops, restaurants, cafés, a supermarket, plus a traditional weekly open-air market.
The surrounding countryside is sparsely populated and quiet, hosting numerous species of wildlife. There are many places of historic and natural interest to visit - local markets, restaurants, chateaux, golf and riding facilities, countless churches and museums.
Less than 3 miles away are the sandy beaches and gentle east coast sea, safe for young swimmers.

The area boasts countless historic and picturesque sites of interest, with lively traditional markets on every day of the week, beautiful chateaux, gardens, museums and ancient churches to visit. There are riding and golf facilities in the area. Enjoy the safe local sandy beaches or take a trip to the west coast waves. There are also many festivals and concerts in churches throughout the summer - lots to do and see!
From Cherbourg, drive straight down the N13 to Sainte-Mere-Eglise (approx 30mins), then 3 miles due east to Cibrantot.
