Superb new 5* luxury apartment for rental in the renowned El Soto de Marbella community near Marbella. Located in the beautiful and now mature El Mirador del Golf resort (El Soto phase I). The accommodation has a private garden and is front-line golf with spectacular mountain & sea views.
The spacious apartment (126 m2 build) has 2 double bedrooms, 2 en-suite bathrooms (1 Jacuzzi), safe, fully fitted modern kitchen and a generous living/dining room complete with SKY satellite TV & DVD. A free wireless broadband internet connection is available in the resort.
The property is furnished to a very high standard with marble floors, air conditioning and double-glazing throughout. 24-hour security and underground parking is provided with lift access. El Soto boasts its own golf course and there are seven swimming pools available in the resort. Tennis, gym, sauna etc. are all available at the Clubhouse for no extra cost.
This is a fully fitted and equipped holiday home, so towels, bed-linen & blankets are all provided for use in the apartment, although beach towels are not. The patio doors from the lounge open out onto the terrace which catches the morning sun and has magnificent views over the garden to the mountains and the Mediterranean coast. There is a patio table and chairs so you can sit or dine on the terrace. The private garden bathes in sunshine for nearly the whole day and sun loungers are provided.
El Soto was declared a World Biosphere Reservation by UNESCO and is located in the hills above the village of Elviria, just 15 minutes drive from the centre of Marbella. Elviria has a good range of facilities including restaurants, bars, supermarkets and small shops. The extensive Elviria Beach is 10 mins drive away and is one of the best Marbella beaches, family friendly with plenty of facilities. The main department stores and designer boutiques can be found in nearby Marbella and the famous Puerto Banus. La Cala & Santa Maria are two superb golf courses only a few minutes away and there are another 21 excellent courses within 30 mins drive.
The beautiful white villages of Ojen & Mijas are nearby, Ronda and Cordoba can also be easily reached. Further afield, there is the Alhambra palace complex in Granada, the old city of Seville, and Gibraltar with its huge gun, cable car to the Rock and dolphin safaris in Gibraltar bay. The more adventurous might like to drive on to Algeciras and take the ferry across to Tangiers in North Africa.

Follows is some important advice for anyone thinking of renting an apartment in beautiful Elsoto.
First of all “El Mirador del Golf” is the official name of Elsoto Phase 1. Most of the properties are of good size and quite spread out amongst large established gardens. Conversely, "Las Lomas" (Phase 2) properties are generally much smaller and densely packed together within minimal or no gardens.
Most of the properties in Elsoto are east facing. So with 1st floor apartments there is sun on the terraces only for a few hours in the early morning. Even some ground floor properties lose the sun from their private gardens around lunchtime. Therefore, note the subtle details in adverts, or more importantly, whats missing. If the apartment level is not mentioned, assume its located on the 1st floor. Unless the advert says that the terrace or garden gets the sun all day, assume it does not.
For another example, many adverts show “satellite”. Don’t assume that this is SKY and you will be able to view BBC & ITV etc… Unless it states otherwise, its most likely that only Spanish satellite channels will be available.
Also, be wary of adverts that are poor imitations of this genuine and meticulously compiled advert. Cribbed adverts are an indication that the owner can’t be bothered. I have even seen testimonials on another website that have been lifted directly from this one.
Needless to say, this apartment is located at the end of the property and benefits from the sun in the private garden right thru from sunrise until late in the afternoon. Also, the satellite system is SKY and all the normal English channels are available. I can prove the validity of my testimonials.
In summary, you must always ask pertinent questions before you agree to rent. But please do, it’ll be worth it !.
