Perfectly sited, it is located just 400m walk from our small village of El Soto & Dehesa Montenmedio and a few minutes by car from Vejer, miles of undeveloped beaches, as well as a wealth of activities including a day-trip to many cultural gems such as Seville, Ronda & Morocco. For those seeking a traditional Spain with fiestas, fresh food, protected wildlife and empty golden beaches – look no further!

Pimienta Casita has three double/twin bedrooms with a large open-plan fully fitted kitchen, dining and living area opening onto a shaded patio. The sitting room area has two large sofas with woodburning stove, WiFi, freeview satellite TV & DVD, while the kitchen has a dishwasher, gas hob & electric oven, microwave and granite worktops, with a wooden farmhouse table seating six. At one end of the Casita, the master bedroom has king bed with an en-suite shower room, and at the other there are two twins bedrooms (easily converted into super-king doubles) which share a family bathroom . Fully insulated, with thick stone walls, high wooden ceilings, woodburning stove, electric heaters & towels rails, it stays cool in summer and warm in winter.
Two sets of wooden French doors lead outside onto the private raised stone patio with shaded pergola and wonderful views West to Vejer. A table & chairs, pair of hardwood sunbeds, large Brazilian cotton hammock & traditional barbeque for al-fresco dining, complete the picture. Guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy the spacious grounds - stroll down Citrus Walk or through the herb gardens, with plenty of secret corners to escape or explore. A new swimming pool with a large patio, shaded pergola & cabana (with honesty bar) for the Casitas is set into the gardens in the top half of the estate.
The Casita is cleaned weekly, with fresh cotton bedlinen & bathroom towels. There is also a utility room and a laundry service, as well as a fresh daily bread delivery. Additional housekeeping, catering (food baskets, shopping and other services) and childminding also available, giving you more time to relax (Please see our website for further information, photographs and finca plan).

Local activities in and around Vejer De La Frontera, Costa de la Luz - Cadiz
This relatively untouched corner of Spain offers a taste of traditional Spain, with its stunning scenery, culture and architecture – including our own beautiful Moorish ´white village´ of Vejer de la Frontera, just 8 minutes drive away. Some of the best beaches on the Costa de la Luz are just 10 minutes away by car - the long golden beaches of El Palmar & Canos de Meca up to Conil are particularly good for younger families in the summer and surfers in the winter, while Tarifa is the kitesurfing capital of Europe.
A range of excellent shops, markets and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets can be found in the local towns and villages, including two in our own village of El Soto (the little wood) just 5 minutes walk away, with an emphasis on fresh, local produce and traditional crafts.
Dehesa Montemedio is just 400m walk away and offers a range of outdoor activities including world class golf & equestrian facilities in its vast, natural parklands. ´The layout of the tees and greens make this course one of the best in Europe both in quality and landscape´, according to Spanish professional Severiano Ballesteros. Within a short drive away there are also several other excellent courses such as Benalup & Novo Sancti Petri.
Montenmedio also offers a wide range of other activities such as horseriding, 4WD & quad-biking and a modern art exhibition centre. There is a wealth of choice for nature lovers too - from whale & dolphin watching to safaris exploring the wonderful regional National Parks such Donana and Los Alconocarles, or simply birdwatching and enjoying the local flora & fauna walks.
Your days can be as active or as laid-back as you wish and you also do not have to arrange everything in advance, rather just take it day by day. Sherry-tasting, a day-trip to Seville, Cadiz or even Morocco or Gibraltar are among popular favourites.

Rental Notes: Rates do not include IVA (currently 7%). Once Booking Form is completed, a 35% deposit is required for confirmation. The balance of 65% is due 3 months before arrival in High & Peak, 2 months in Regular or 1 month in Low Seasons. Payment can be made in euros or sterling, via cheque, bank transfer, credit card or Paypal. There is also a small security deposit required, returnable within 7 days after the end of the booking.
We have a 7 night minimum (14 nights from 18th July to 28th August 2009) and a Saturday changeover year-round, but we can be more flexible in Low Season. Arrival time is between 4pm - 10pm and departure before 10.30am.
