The Cottage is a former Tin Miner's cottage attached to the owner's large period house. It is tucked away up a narrow lane, in open countryside, at the edge of a Seaside village, within a designated World Heritage Site and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Cottage has been extensively renovated and refurbished now having a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and two shower rooms whilst still retaining it's 300 year old character as a former tin miner's dwelling. It is tastefully decorated in neutral colours and simply furnished to a high standard. The remains of the old Engine House of 'Gooninnis' mine stand a couple of small fields away and can be seen from the Cottage courtyard.
St. Agnes is a popular, yet unspoiled village in a rural setting close to beautiful, sandy beaches. It is renowned for it's outstanding natural beauty attracting artists from all over the country. St. Agnes is a friendly retreat where holiday makers are made welcome. There are various shops in the village from food stores, bakery, chemist, butcher, fishmonger, newsagent and post office to hairdressers, potteries and craft shops. Old pubs and modern restaurants abound and yet all in the narrow streets and lanes of this gem of a village.
There are many village events in the summer - The Children's Flora Dances, The Annual Carnival, The Steam Rally, The Art Exhibition, and The Lifeboat Day Spectacular and the Victorian Fair.
Where else but in St Agnes would you find such place names as 'Promised Land' and ' Jericho Valley' the latter featured in the famous T.V. Series 'Poldark'? It's all here waiting for you to discover.
