This newly built extremely spacious duplex apartment is surrounded by beauty. To the rear of the property are the pine-clad mountains, and to the front is the stunning view over the pool area and the 'Bay of Turunc'.
It is one of only six apartments in a small, exclusive complex, and currently is the only one being let, so you could find you have the pool, garden area, and BBQ to yourself! This complex is very private and offers complete relaxation.
Turunc is about 2 hours from Dalaman airport. Arrangements can be made for transfer directly from the airport to the apartment. This will cost around £100 return, & the people carrier will take 6 people. We have sought a competitive rate, but please feel free to make your own arrangements. It will pass through Marmaris & Icmeler and then on the mountain path to Turunc where the views are spectacular.
The large rooms have an airy feel and each comes with air-conditioning to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
The large open plan kitchen has a hob, full size fridge-freezer, dishwasher and all mod cons, and adjoins the lounge/dining area which forms one spacious room that takes up most of the lower floor.
One of the many improvements in Turunc during 2005 was the updating of the water system so you are now able to drink the tap water.
The lounge has a comfortable sofa bed, traditional turkish carpets, and original oil paintings of Turunc. There is a TV and DVD player which is the same as the UK, so you can bring your favourite film or music!
The 18ft patio doors lead onto a large balcony providing ample space for al-fresco meals, or just to sit and watch the world go by.
A downstairs cloakroom houses the dreaded washing machine & ironing equipment, (there's no getting away from it) and WC & basin.
The marble staircase leads to the upper floor where there a two twin bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath, shower, vanity unit and W.C.
Both bedrooms are bright & airy, the contain two single beds, quality furniture providing ample storage, and both lead onto the upper balcony, where again the views are breath-taking.
A large second bathroom is located across the landing and has a glass shower cubicle, marble vanity unit, and yet another WC.

Local activities in and around Marmaris, Aegean Coast
Should you wish to visit Marmaris or Icmeler, there is a bus stop for the local buses (dolmos) that runs every 30 minutes.
A weekly market is held in the town, and although not as big as the neighbouring town of Icmeler, it sells everything you need, and there is a very relaxed atmosphere.
Restaurants line the seafront, and you will be spoilt for choice as they are all fantastic, but be warned, if it's burgers you're after, your in the wrong place. All serve top quality food, especially fish, there's not a chicken nugget in sight!
The several shops in the main street sell everything you need, from food & drink, to leather goods, jewellry, and designer clothes. The locals in Turunc, are not allowed by law to hassle customers, so you can look at your leisure without feeling pressurized.
Local buses run every 30 minutes if you want more choice and more hassle in Marmaris. Water taxis run every hour and are very cheap and more enjoyable than the dolmos, but you do not get the same views as from the mountain top over the bay.
If you wish to participate in something more energetic, then a variety of day trips or watersports can be booked locally from the many tour operatiors in the village.
Fishing trips can be booked & can include a meal cooked on the boat whilst you fish for your supper.

Rental Notes: Although no smoking in the apartment is specified, feel free to smoke on the balcony if you wish.
Maid service is available if you are staying for more than a week, at your request.
Normally the change over depends on your flight time, but we try not to throw you out on the street with your baggage too early!
If the apartment isn't booked immediately after your stay, then you can make use of the apartment and facilities until the last minute.

We have employed the services on an English lady called Deb, who has lived in Turunc for several years, and has proved invaluble to us. Should you have any problems with the apartment she will be on hand at your request.
As the apartment is situated on the two upper floors of the building please be aware there are steps which have handrails and are nice and wide. Sullyman will be able to help with your baggage if you require.
