Chalet with 5 Bedrooms, Sleeps 10, Garden
200 plus year old Savoyarde Chalet farmhouse, is situated just above the village of Montriond, the chalet is built on the sunny side of the valley with wonderful views across to Morzine, Les Gets, with snow-capped mountains of Nyon, Les Dents Blanche, Ressachaux & Mont Cheri in Les Gets in the winter and breath taking views in the summer. The Chalet farmhouse is, built of local wood and stone & retains many original features. It was once owned by a countess, as a summer retreat, the chalet has kept the magnificent radiators from that time.
The accommodation comprises of spacious living / sleeping area's, along with comfortable furnishings. The ground floor lounge area, this section has an open celling looking up to the exposed oak beams, the feeding manger, all have been retained, these were original used for the feeding of the live stock which were brought in, in the winter.

The main living area has Slate & wooden floors and a wealth of exposed oak beams, Ground floor comprises, the reception area, kitchen & bedroom's 1 & 2 which are situated to the front of the chalet, next to bedroom 2 is a separate, toilet & bathroom with enameled shower/bath, slate floor, double sink, radiator, washing machine, laundry cupboard. Bathroom size 2mx3.5m.
From the ground floor there is the oak staircase leading up to, a Gallery area & of this is 2 separate large shower rooms these are fitted with Italian shower's, tiled floor, natural wood sink top, heated towel rail's, toilet, room size's 2mx2m. Bedroom's 3 & 4, are located of the gallery area, these are large comfortable bedrooms furnished with local crafted furniture, A mixture of old & reproduction furniture throughout the house along with modern comforts.
In the garden there is a old Mazot , Entrance to chalet area, there is a terrace area with stone wall with a built-in BBQ, tables and chairs to eat out. Parking for 2/3 cars.

The river Dranse winds it's way on the valley floor through the park accessible via paths from Montriond riding stables & football pitch.
You can also experience, Hot Air Ballooning? Ever wanted to experience flying in the mountains by Hot Air Balloon? this can arrange, flights for individuals or small parties to follow the valley & into Switzerland. Superb views of the countryside, villages, Abbey and farms. Over mountains, along rivers........Paragliding,Ice Diving,Snow Shoeing,Cross Country,Husky Mushing,Skidoos etc..........
Skiing-We are less than 7 mins to the slopes at Ardent where the telecabine takes you to the links with Chatel & Avoriaz. 650 km of marked pistes of the Portes du Soleil. Skiing of all levels. A selection of ski schools for adults & children. Also available are crèches in the children’s garden in the center of Avoriaz village.
Winter, we're able to offer you a fully qualified Instructor to take you Off-Piste touring into powder bowls, Avalanche awareness & Slalom Training with video analysis at the farmhouse after your Adventure. Heli Pick-ups can also be arranged.
You will find many restaurants, bars & night clubs as well as souvenir shops, post office, medical centres, street entertainment and events for children such as fireworks, nocturnal skiing etc. held on the Pleney piste. Free vin chaud or hot chocolate with chartreuse.

Arrival & departure. The Chalet is available from 15.00hrs on the arrival date. Departure of the chalet is between 09.00hrs - 09.30hrs, this then allows the chalet to be inspected, cleaned prior to the next guest arriving the same day.
Deposit: A £50pp is required to secure the booking, the balance & deposit is required to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival in resort. Damage deposit this is a separate holding cheque of £500.GBP and does not form part of the booking, the deposit is returned to you 7 days after your departure subject to any damage.
