Situated in the heart of the Alpes, right opposite the impressive Aiguilles d’Arves, in the Sybelles region, Saint Jean d’Arves offers breathing taking views across beautiful landscapes. From the Col de La Chal, the views of the mountains tops stretch out as far as the eye can see.
Saint Jean d’Arves, as time has gone by, has conserved its authentic mountain identity and has all the charm of a Mauriennais village.
In winter the resort becomes alive as skiers and snowsport lovers take to the 120 km of slopes.
The residence is ideally situated, some 100m from the ski lifts and resort centre.
Situated in the La Chal hamlet in the heart of the village, the residence La Fontaine du Roi has an impressively superb view towards the Aiguilles d’Arves. Consisting of 8 traditional wooden large chalets divided into 10-15 apartments which house between 4 and 12 people, they all have with satellite television and a parking place.
The apartments, each between 26 to 75 m², have a terrace of 6 – 8 m², a well equipped kitchen with 4 hobs, microwave with oven and grill, dish-washer, refrigerator, bath room, WC, Satellite TV (with supplement)
Communal Facilities (at the disposition of all our clients): Private heated indoor swimming pool (12m x 6m), lounge with bar and open fire, two saunas, fitness room, disabled access.
Appartments description: Lodge with 2 rooms - 5 persons (30 m²): living room with convertible sofa and 1 pull out bed, well equipped kitchenette, bedroom with double bed or 2 twin beds or 2 bunk beds, bathroom with bath or shower and WC (prices available on the rental rate).

Local activities in and around St Jean d'Arves, Rhone Alps
The ski area « Grand Large », with its 120 km of pistes, links up the resorts of Corbier, St Jean d’Arves, La Toussuire and Bottières. With access to St. Sorlin d’Arves and St. Colomban des Villards, the Super Grand Large brings the total piste area to 310 km, set in a superb landscape.
The resort is renowned for its pure alpine air and relaxed atmosphere: mountain walks and snowshoe excursions allow you to discover the mountain scenery.
The resort also offers: cross country skiing, paragliding, introduction to dog sledding, “tales and legends evenings…”. Your children will enjoy themselves in the jardin des neiges and the Ski France Ski School.
Traditional activities include; Beaufort cheese production, lacemaking, folk dancing and a chance to experience the local delicacy of diots sausages and polenta should not be missed!
