An abundance of golf courses are nearby including St. Andrews, Carnoustie, Kingsbarnes, Gleneagles and on the doorstep Drumoig and its driving range. A 15 minute drive through forest and woodland bring you to a spectacular beach with miles of clean sand. Fife and Tayside coastllines offer historic fishing villages, coastal walks and many sporting facilities nearby including horse riding, fishing, sailing, quad biking, ice skating and a swimming complex to name a few! Historic St. Andrews, famous for its university and Cathedral as well as the home of golf.
Craigton Country Park is close by with its miniture railway, boating lake, putting, crazy golf, trampolines and beautiful gardens. The Discovery ship home to Captain Scott's voyage to Antartica is docked in Dundee. Glamis castle with its fairytale turrets and secret rooms, childhood home of the late Queen Mother. A varied program of pantomime, music, comedy and drama as well as home to the Scottish dance company can be found at the local theatres. Edinburgh, only 50 miles away with its international airport is within easy reach by road or train.
