Located in peaceful and tranquil rural countryside on the outer edge of the charming East Sussex village of Beckley - only 5 miles from the ancient Cinque port Town of Rye, nestles this aboslutely stunning, very high standard Oast House. With every detail perfected and every comfort provided, Kings Bank Oast House is an idyllic holiday home for all seasons. As well as retaining many original oak beams, the property has been refurbished and constructed to an exceptionally high standard with oak flooring throughout, oak doors and handles, a hand made kitchen with AEG appliances and prolific good quality furnishings and fitments in the entire house.
The spacious kitchen/dining room with beamed ceiling and long table with 8 chairs, is well equipped and fitted with a good range of wall and floor cupboards, electric oven, ceramic hob, inset microwave oven, integral dishwasher, large larder fridge, integral freezer, concealed automatic washing machine and tumble dryer all decorated in beautiful muted colours, off-set by pale green Roman blinds.
The downstairs cloakroom provides a washbasin, WC and mirror with shaver point, plus storage space. Located in the Roundel is the beautiful lounge, very comfortably furnished with settee and armchairs, occasional table, well stocked bookshelves, standard lamp, colour TV (Satellite) with DVD & video, CD player/radio - plus a woodburning stove set into the fireplace.
Easy oak stairs lead to the upper floor with a delightful spacious landing with all bedrooms and bathroom leading off. To one end, lies the charming master bedroom with high ceiling - all tastefully decorated and stone coloured tiles. From here, there are superb views over the grounds and fields. There are two single bedrooms both furnished with slimline clothes hanging wardrobes and shelving, bedside tables with lamps plus an additional folding beds available for both bedrooms.
The large family bathroom has a fixed shower over the bath, washbasin with mirror and shaver point plus heated towel rail.
To the other end of the hallway lies the spacious twin bedroom. There are superb views from the upper floors of the Oast.
The Oast nestles in its own grounds of nearly one acre with fencing all around, enjoying privacy and solitude. Garden furniture and bbq are placed to enjoy the sun at all times of the day. The farm on which the property sits, is now reduntant, but is being gradually redeveloped and landscaped, therefore some of the farm buildings in place have yet to be refurbished.
An open barn provides covered parking for guests' cars just a few yards from Oast House.

Nestling quietly in approximately 1 acre of enclosed gardens on an original 100acre working farm, now just fields and meadows - occasionally mowed by tractor, the land leads down to National Forestry Commission land where guests can freely walk or cycle. A stroll will take you down to the village pub or the traditional garage which also keeps a supply of basic groceries.
There are many places of interest to visit within the area - Farm World - an ideal pace for families with children, local Castles such as Bodiam or Camber, beautiful gardens at Great Dixter, Sissinghurst and many other locations as well as other National Trust properties. Within 5 miles lies the ancient Cinque port of Rye, steeped in history and a delight to explore the cobbled streets where there are many antique shops, bookshops, tea-rooms, restaurants and pubs, and 10 miles distant lies delightful Hastings with its famous Old Town, original fishing port, Museums and Castle. For all shopping requirements, there is a large supermarket in Peasmarsh - mid-way between Beckley & Rye or alternatively on-line shopping with Tesco or Saisnbury's will have your holiday shopping deliverd prior to your arrival.
