'La Blanche Pierre' is a beautifully restored 19th century large Perigourdine stone FarmHouse. The property is a 100 private acres haven of peace and tranquillity with lots of paths where you will enjoy walk and wild life early in the morning. The property is perfect to accomodate up to 16 persons with 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
The farmhouse is located just 5 minutes from a small town with all shops and facilities. Ideal central location to visit the best places of Dordogne within a 15-45 minutes of driving, or just to stay at home and enjoy BBQ party near the huge private swimming pool (40 ft x 20 ft) perfect for the fun of the whole family and fenced for the safety of the children. For those which prefers tranquility for reading or painting, accompanied by the songs of birds, the shaded terrace far of the noise will be the perfect place.
In the heart of Perigord Noir region at the confluence of Vezere and Dordogne, just between Sarlat and Bergerac, the property is outside the pretty village of Cadouin. It combines the rural peace with the convenience of shops and very good restaurants.
All the main places of interest of the Perigord Noir are just a stroll away (15-45 minutes), among which the most famous are the Lascaux Caves, the medieval city of Sarlat, the national pre-historical museum of Les Eyzies, the abbey of Cadouin, the lovely village of Tremolat, the bastide of Monpazier and the castle of Castelnaud. Good access via the Autoroute A20. Bergerac Airport is only 45 minutes away and Bordeaux or Toulouse airports are 2 hours away.

3 Bathrooms, 3 Showers, 1 Separate WC. 2 double and one family have an en-suite bathroom. 1 family and 1 twin have an en-suite shower. 1 double and 1 twin share a shower room. Each bath/shower room has a toilet. Changing table is available

Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. 2 fridges, 2 DishWasher, 2 Toasters, kettle and coffee -maker, Washer & dryer. Two highchairs are available.
Kitchen is large enough to cook with 3-4 people.

Real Fire, Central Heating, Maid Service, House Linen, Towels Provided, Internet Access. Bed linen and towels are provided (except swimming towels), and placed at the disposal. The beds are made on arrival only

Seating for 10. -16. There are two 8-persons dining tables in the living room suitable for 16 persons, as well as two patio tables and chairs outside also suitable for 16 persons. 2 baby high chairs are available.

Satellite TV, Video, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games, Table Tennis. The Satellite procurs both french and foreign channels. Free Internet access is available.

The surroundings of our estates have all the ingredients for a good holiday – uncluttered landscapes, empty roads, clean rivers, good regional cuisine and many historical or pre-historical treasures. This is the region of gentle rolling countryside and pretty bastide villages where markets are held in the cobbled squares and many festivals liven up during the summer, like "les marchés nocturnes de Cadouin" from end of June up to begining of September
Food: the gourmet bounty from this region is truly world class. The best places to taste the secrets of the perigordian gastronomy: foie gras pâté, confits, omelette with truffles, poêlées de cèpes, and many other delights.
Wine : the regional wines : Pécharmant, Saussignac, Monbazillac, Bergerac, ... are excellent. A visit to local wine cellars and delicatessens like "Le moine Gourmand" in Cadouin is strongly recommended to discover some other treasures.
Arts & Crafts: many artists and craftsmen find their inspiration in this privileged area and are delighted to welcome you to their studios

Rental Notes: Extract of TERMS & CONDITIONS
Prices are per week for rentals commencing on Saturday. Check-In 5:00-8:00 P.M. Check-Out 10:00 A.M.
30 % booking deposit of rental charges. Balance 8 weeks before the start of the lease and the 31st of May at the latest
A minimum of 2 weeks rental during the high season (July 5th -August 30th)
Bed linen, towels are included (except swimming towels), at the disposal on saturday. Beds are made on arrival only
Normal electricity, water, gas, starting stock of fire wood for BBQ, and a welcome set of provisions are included
Changeover charge of 200 € is payable on arrival in cash
Security deposit of 500 € payable on arrival in cash. Refunded on departure after full check, less breakage/damage cost
Central heating is not necessary from beginning of May to end of September and not included. If desired, we apply a daily rate depending on the price of fuel
Extra cleaning and maid service are available at local rate
