Dolphin is a single storey detached villa with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The villa offers superb views of the White Mountains and has a view across the village to the sea at Souda Bay. It has its own private 35sqm swimming pool, and is a short walk to the centre of the thriving old Cretan village of Vamos, where guests will find bakery, shops tavernas, bank, post office and 24-hour health centre.
Dolphin Villa has been issued with Greek Tourist Authority (EOT) Protocol Number 157/14.06.05.

Dolphin is situated at the end of a quiet well-lit tarmac road on the edge of the village, within a private, gated stone walled enclosure containing just four individually designed villas, built by a local architect.
Although not strictly wheelchair accessible, the accommodation is all on one level, and there is ramp access to the main entrance, which has large double doors set in a feature stone arch.
The villa is well-equipped for 4 people (a 5th person may be accommodated on a sofabed in the living area). There is a double bedroom (with en-suite shower room) and a second bedroom with twin beds. The bedrooms have reverse cycle airconditioners to provide cooling or heating. All main rooms have ceiling fans. An optional self-contained "family room" with en-suite shower room is also available at extra cost (£100 per week) to guests staying in Dolphin Villa who wish to accommodate a further 2 guests.
All modern facilities are provided, including dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, TV/DVD, CD player, etc. A barbeque is provided for those wishing to cook "al fresco"! There is ample private parking to the front and side of the villa.

Local activities in and around Vamos, Crete
Although located in a peaceful Cretan village, there are numerous local beaches and coves within a 10-15min drive, offering all the usual watersport activities.
Chania, the beautiful Venitian capital of the region, is a 20min drive away, and offers more sophisticated dining and nightlife. Also on offer are scuba diving, sea fishing and sailing, plus the usual boat trips etc. Horse riding is available locally, offering country and beach rides and excellent instruction for all ages.
The region is famous for its mountain hiking and gorge walks, which include the famous Samaria Gorge. In addition to its archaeological sites and diverse history, the region is also famous for its flora and wildlife.
