A 5 double bedroom/4 bathroom beautiful farmhouse, it's a perfect property for 8-10 persons, but can guest comfortably up to 12 persons. ‘Podere Le Caggia’ is an enchanting Tuscan farmhouse set on large grounds in one of the most picturesque and famous regions of Italy - near the splendid medieval Tuscan city of Siena. The "Podere" is set in a clearing surrounded by vast woods of holm-oak and chestnut and open fields cultivated, holding in the tranquility and peacefull of the Montagnola senese. It is the perfect place for your holiday with your friends and family. Impressive garden, complete with swimming pool and BBQ, Podere Le Caggia is only 17Km from Siena and 5 mins to village with restaurants, banks, supermarkets.
This romantic farmhouse is only 17 Km from Siena, one hour from Florence and three hours from Rome. Within five minutes you can reach the village of Sovicille, where there are restaurants, banks, supermarkets and all other services you may require. In ancient times, Le Caggia was a shorecropper's farm on the estate of the Castle of Celsa, and even today it retains some remnants of its history. The property has 1 main apartment( with a big full-equipment kitchen a little livingroom, two bedrooms and a bathroom) and 10 meters from it 2 cottages one with two bedrooms, one bathroom with shower and a kitchenette, the other cottage, that is next to the first, with one bedroom one bathroom with shower and a kitchenette. All the 5 bedrooms have double beds, but under request in three bedrooms it's possible to have 2 singles beds. In the bedrooms of the main apartment it's possible to add a third extra bed.On request we have babybeds.
At the groundfloor of the Podere, with its indipendent entrance, in front of the two cottages, there is a big livingroom with a fireplace, a dining room and a bathroom. A part of the property is occupied by one person, the owner Elisabetta, a painter, that in a discreet way, takes care of the garden, the pool and the biological kitchen garden. There is a beautiful, turquoise swimming pool that uses the salt instead of chlorine, a relaxing garden all around the pool with a shower, deck chairs, beach umbrella , an ideal place to stay in the hot summer afternoons enjoying the colours and perfumes of the surrounding nature. There is also a volleyball net and a ping-pong table, two mountain bikes are available. In the garden you will find tables and seats making outdoor breakfast, lunch and dinners possible under the Tuscan sky during summer. A barbecue is also available for use. On request, everytime you want, we can arrange a delicious, traditional Tuscan meal of your choice or to lead you in a cooking course.

If you want to it would be a pleasure for us to organize tours to cellars and oil-presses or trips to the hidden jewels of Siena.
