It dominates the steep shore of Tarifa and offers the simply best views of Mediterranean, ocean and montainous Moroccan coastline in all the region. Small intimate sand/stone beach - nature's own swimming pool - nearby and the large and unspoilt famous sandy beaches of Tarifa within 1 mile. Located within a tranquil nature park but the walking distance to the old town centre is only 500m (4km by car).

"Tanger" is a safe and private, tastefully furnished and richly equipped apartment, discreetly reflecting the cosy atmosphere of the 19th century and equipped with all you need to feel well, comfortable and "at home".

Large wooden inbuilt kitchen with seating corner and spacious store room. Charming, romantic sleeping room with twins (can be combined), elegant wardrobe, 2 chests. Small en-suite bathroom. Breathtaking views of the sea from all rooms, even from bathroom (except kitchen with window to the great patio). You feel "beeing aboard" in this apartment. A large furnished terrace facing the montainous northern African coast (overwhelming views) and a shady, wind sheltered garden with pavilion, overhung with grapes, belong to the apartment. Exciting hiking paths directly into the nature park area and along the still virgin coast.
In agreement with the owner you may also enjoy the panoramic room. The Mirador invites its guests to experience fascinating sunrises above the dark blue Mediterranean and sunsets in the turquoise-multicolored Atlantic...or to watch the bird migration and the always brisk shipping in the Straits.. or simply to relax in the quietness of this special place.

Situated in a nature park you have splendid possibilities for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, climbing, horse riding. The sea is just "at your foot step", so you may practise swimming, diving, fishing, sailing, wind surfing, kiting and lots of other sports. The bird migrations between Europe and Africa can be well observed from the property. Exciting dolphin and whale watch by boat. Ferries go to Tangier several times a day. Guided tours of 1-3 days lead you to northern Morocco and its Kasbahs and picturesque oriental markets.
Tarifa itself - the Mediterranean in the east, the ocean with its endless sandy beaches in the west, hilly nature parks in the north and facing the whole montainous northern African coastline on the other side of the Straits of Gibraltar at a distance of 15 km - is the Continental Europe's southernmost town and one of the most remarkable places of the world. It owns a rich heritage of history since prehistoric times, but the face of old Tarifa was mostly sharped by the Moorish reign and the "Reconquista". Nowadays Tarifa - extending to the west - is a very versatile town where you can find everything in modern shops and boutiques, in a traditional market hall as well as in modern supermarkets. Numerous bars and restaurants offer international and excellent local food and good wine on their menus. Enjoy the numerous famous and impressive festivals (e.g. Holy Week and the "Cabalgata") celebrated by the inhabitants. The town is starting point for many excursions to the cultural and historical sites of western Andalusia, so as the "White Villages" in the mountains, Cadiz and Jerez and Seville and many others more.
