The Villa - Club Rosmarin - Gocek
The villa is built up in the mountain on a coastal hill behind the marina of Gocek in a small complex, which is surrounded by a pine clad forest, so there is a great deal of privacy. The private garden in which it is set has pine trees, olive trees and lots of shrubs. You can stop and take in the scenery as you walk down the mountain road into Gocek.

Club Rosmarin is a lovely place to enjoy your holiday, where you can have peace, quiet and tranquility. The name Rosmarin is taken from the herb Rosemary which grows in abundance. The villa at club Rosmarin is private and secluded. In the summer months if you want to you can stroll down to the pool/bar have a drink, something to eat and a chat, where you will find the staff are friendly and there to help you with any problems, and nothing is too much trouble for them.
It ıs a fantastıc walk down the mountaın ınto Göcek and a chance to try and spot some wıldlıfe however comıng back up ıs a lıttle more strenuous
The 2 bedroom spacious villa which is privately owned has it own garden. The larger room has a double bed with breathtaking views of the harbour, the smaller room has two single beds, however these could be put together to make a double. The villa sleeps four, it could sleep six, especially if you had children as the sofa downstairs can convert to a double bed. The lounge has a kitchenette and large sliding French windows that lead on to the veranda.
The garden has olive trees and pine trees, and if you were to stay there in the winter you can gather the pine needles and fir cones which can be put on the log fire to get a really good fire going, but in the summer the last thing you are thinking about is a fire as the temperature in Turkey can be very hot reaching 80 - 90oF in June July Aug.
Göcek - has long been a desirable destination for both Turkish and foreign yachtsman, as well as a favourite stopover for jet-setters and celebrities alike.
Turkey is a country of contrasts from bustling cosmopolitan towns and farming villages, to white sandy beaches and steep mountain regions with hidden alpine meadows. There is so much to see and do, or you can just relax at Club Rosmarin and stroll down to Göcek harbour and try some local cuisine.

Local activities in and around Gocek, Turquoise Coast/Lycia
Club Rosmarin has a bar at the poolside and snacks which are available throughout the day.
Gocek has a traditional village atmosphere, with no public beach but instead a beautiful marina. The cobbled resort streets hold some lovely shops, tasteful restaurants and a few bars, but nothing too noisy - its a world apart from Turkeys busier resorts.
There are some great restaurants at the front of the harbour where you can sit outside and admire the beautiful views, although the prices are a little bit higher than a typical Turkish restaurant, it is well worth a visit. If you fancy something more typically Turkish the Lemon restaurant is very good, you don’t have the views, but the staff are very friendly and the food is excellent, and so are the prices.
From the marina you can take boat trips around the twelve islands to reach Gocek’s beaches, the nearest is a little further around the bay. There is also a local market held in Gocek every Sunday.
Fethiye - Fethiye is a large town, with plenty of shops, there is a really big market held there on every Tuesday which is well worth a visit to do a bit of haggling, you can also get great pancakes with cheese or meat that are cooked fresh while you wait, the traditional apple tea is a must to be sampled. It is a 40 minute bus ride from Rosmarin and you can jump on the bus at the bottom of the mountain.
Dalyan - Surrounded by pine-clad hills and cotton fields, Dalyan is a traditional riverside village, with the astonishing Lycian rock tombs from Dalyan a 40 minute boat ride will take you to Iztuzu beach, where the sands there are one of the last nesting places of the Loggerhead Turtle, for those who don’t mind getting messy, there are mud baths available, which is said to be really good for the skin. Whilst in Dalyan Turtle beach is just a boat ride away where you will find a lovely sandy beach. Travel time from Gocek approx 1 hour 30 minutes.
