“Villa La Romarine” is set in a beautiful location high in the hills above the quiet village of Taradeau in the Var region of Provence, famous for its Rosé wine. The self-contained Apartment is spacious and modern with a large double bedroom. It has a private entrance.
There are stunning views, both day and night, across the valley and vineyards of the immediate area and of the Tour de Taradel and the Chapel St Martin of Taradeau which dates from the 12th century. Further in the distance, perched on an extinct volcano overlooking nearby Vidauban, is the church of St Bridget which is lit up spectacularly at night.
The Apartment boasts a modern fully fitted kitchen with electric Oven, Hob with Extractor Fan, Microwave, Dishwasher and American Fridge. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa which converts into a double bed if needed.
There is satellite TV (for those wishing to keep abreast of the news back home) and terrestial TV (for those wanting to improve on the French communications skills !!). It also has a DVD player, CD system and Radio.
The private entrance gives access to a large terraced garden with dining and BBQ facilities. Looking out from the garden there are stunning views across the valley and vineyards of the immediate area to the Maures mountains on the horizon. The owners also offer bed and breakfast facilities. Taradeau is within easy reach of the French Riviera and the Mediterranean resorts of Ste Maxime and St Tropez. The airports of Nice and Toulon are only 55 minutes away. Cannes is just 40 minutes away with Monaco one and a quarter hours drive and the Italian market towns of San Remo and Ventimiglia are just 90 minutes by car.

1 Double Bedroom. There is a large double bedroom which has been tastefully decorated and has plenty of storage space in a handcrafted wardrobe unit for all your holiday clothes.

It has a heated towel rail and a mirrored unit for storing toilet accessories.

Seating for 4. There is a modern table and four chairs in the living area. There are also two other tables, each with four chairs, on both the 1st and 2nd garden terrace levels.

Local activities in and around Lorgues, Cote d'Azur/Provence
The local region is of great interest with numerous nearby medieval villages where market traders sell locally produced fruit and vegetables, cheese and wine, arts and crafts.
There are also a host of local vineyards to visit where you can sample a variety of excellent wines at the many first class chateaux. Taradeau also has its own award-winning cooperative. Alternatively, you could enjoy good food at any of the many nearby reasonably priced and gastronomic restaurants.
There are several challenging golf courses in the local area. Additionally, guests can take advantage of: cycling, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, quad biking, swimming, tennis, walking, water sports, sightseeing, boules, wine-tasting and cookery courses.

Rental Notes: Payment is only accepted in the currency quoted unless the currency and amount is agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser. A £100 per week deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance must be paid six weeks prior to the dates required. A refundable £150 / 225 euros deposit must be paid with the balance as security against damage.
Bookings are available for the midweek and long weekends at a daily rate starting from £50 in the low season to £85 in the high season. They may start and finish at any days to suit clients requirements, subject to a minimum stay of three nights in the low season and 7 nights high season. A 5% discount is available on stays of two weeks or more. Linen and towels plus pool /beach towels are included in the rates. There is an extra charge for electricity during the period 1st October 2008 to 31st March 2008.
