  Your holiday apartment has a spacious non-overlooked terrace with stunning romantic sea views and is superbly positioned by the waters edge of the Ria Formosa in the unspoilt fishing village of Santa Luzia, 4km west of Tavira.

A perfect location for beach lovers or take long leisurely walks to discover the marvellous world of fauna and flora that lives in this part of the Eastern Algarve coast, a bird watchers paradise.
Conveniently adjacent to the new promenade with all amenities including fresh seafood restaurants, small snack bars, grocery stores, pharmacy, bank and small shops.

The white sandy beaches are safe, gently sloping and can be reached by ferry boat (25 Mts), which you can see sitting from your terrace or a short walk to catch the miniature railway to Barril beach near Pedras del Rei complex which has a swimming pool.

There is a built-in BBQ for the evening meal, if you chose, with a glass of fine wine to take in the breathtaking sunsets.

  Our non-overlooked top floor apartment has a large private sun terrace with beautiful views of the Ria Formosa and is accessible via double patio doors from the kitchen and bedroom. There are 2 Reclining chairs for sunbathing, for the evening meal there is a built-in BBQ, a patio table with 4 chairs and parasol, Sit, sip a long cool drink and enjoy the wonderful sunsets.

Parking is available at the back of the apartment building if you wish to hire a car for the holiday. Ground Floor Entrance with stairs to access the apartment, entrance hallway leads into all rooms, additional heaters are provided for our winter guests.

The fully tiled kitchen has a double sink drainer with good quality worktops and units. There is a washing machine, Family size fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafeteria, lots of cutlery and cups, glasses etc, and a large selection of cooking utensils, sufficient to prepare a dinner party for 4.

Fully tiled bathroom with shower over bath, wc, sink, illuminated dressing mirror over and bidet.

The lounge has a 21' Colour TV, SKY digital with DVD player, Mini Hi-Fi system,, comfortable 3 seater sofa-bed, (suitable to sleep two children) and one 3 seater settee, with coffee table and sideboard.
There is a further balcony accessed from the lounge, with views to the North, you can open this door together with the South facing front terrace doors to create a nice through breeze.
Access via a spiral staircase to a huge shared roof terrace which has uninterrupted panoramic views of the Eastern Algarve.

This is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday, the sun shines here almost all of the time, sit or sunbathe, stroll to the restaurants or beach, perfect! Our managers live nearby and they know all the best places to go in the Algarve and are only to happy to help you.

Local activities in and around Tavira, Eastern Algarve
 
         
Our top floor private Apartment is in a prime location in the unspoilt fishing village of Santa Luzia with fantastic views, 25 metres from the waters edge and the ferry boat that takes you to the famous beach of Barril near Pedras del Rei, the best in the Algarve that runs for 12 Km’s! There are beach restaurants, café bars and shower facilities. The renting of boats, etc are available. You can stay around the beach bars or walk till you are totally alone.

Santa Luzia has beautiful terraces where you can enjoy a meal and a drink or two with the locals and watch the world go by, it's Bars and Restaurants serve excellent and reasonably priced food (Much more value for money than to the west of Faro). Adjacent to all amenities including great fresh seafood restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, bank and small shops, once you are here, you do not need a car as everything is a short stroll away.

A perfect location for long walks to discover the marvellous world of fauna and flora that lives in this part of the Eastern Algarve coast, a bird watchers paradise. The fishing village is part of the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve Park, a large system of tidal lagoons.

The apartment is only 8 Km's from Junction 16 of the A22 motorway, 4 Km’s west of the lovely old town of Tavira which offers a great range of shops and supermarkets (Pingo Doce, Lidle), bars/restaurants abound many specialising in seafood. The beautiful river Gilão runs through the centre of town and on those warm summer nights public entertainment can be found in the park by the river.

The new watershoot park in Loule is only 35 Minutes away and is great fun! Or swim with the dolphins at Zoomarine within 40 minutes.

We have a number of excellent markets nearby (a detailed list will be in the apartment) where you can pick up some real bargains. Ayamonte, 20mins (the Spanish border) town has a similar market every Saturday.

Rental Notes:
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds based on 2 people sharing, add £35 for each additional person per week.
Changeover day is Saturday or Thursday, we are flexible, please ask for details. For early arrivals, arrangements can easily be made to leave the bags at the apartment.

Please bring your own Beach towels. Fresh linen and towels are changed on day of arrival, for guests staying for two weeks or more, fresh linen and towels will be available to change weekly.

A deposit of 25% is required on booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to departure, or immediately if booking is made within 8 weeks of departure date.
A breakages deposit of £100 (payable with your balance) which will be refunded within 5 days of return of the apartment keys to us providing our agent has found everything to be in order after checking the apartment inventory.
