La Denillière is a 17th century 'longere' farmhouse built into the hillside just outside the small Norman village of Le Gast in the departement of Calvados. Le Gast is next to the beautiful St. Sever Forest ideal for walking mountain biking and picnics. We are centrally situated to visit historical sites miles of stunning beaches and beautiful countryside.
Tastefully decorated and furnished. Complimented by quality antiques and artwork. Fully equipped to the highest standard. We provide bed linen, towels, beach towels, and tea towels, picnic hampers, rugs and cool boxes.
Sleeps four. Into the spacious lounge with comfortable sofa-bed and two chairs, occasional and games tables. Through arch to kitchen diner with table and four chairs. Cooker, fridge, microwave, Washing machine and dishwasher. A shower room and toilet, and stairs to first floor.
Upstairs there are two double bedrooms. The first with double bed chest of drawers and hanging space. The second with two single beds chest of drawers and hanging space.

The garden is fenced and safe for both pets and children but there is an open access gate to the lane. This is very quiet but tractors and the odd car pass by occasionally
Local activities in and around Vire, Normandy
In Normandy there is an abundance of activities and attractions. Children are welcomed everywhere and are included in all activities. There is excellent sailing along the coast and Sea festivals during the summer. There are golf courses throughout the region.
Equestrian farms provide horse riding and organise treks to riders of all abilities. For the young or young at heart there is go-karting, bungee jumping or scable (canoeing and riding mild rapids)
