Sunny Beach is a bearer of the impressive Blue Flag prize.
There are over 130 restaurants, entertainment and traditional folk spots, night clubs, bars with floor shows, discos, casinos and cafes providing culinary pleasures and a great atmosphere. Every conceivable opportunity for sports: surfing, water skiing and parachuting, hang-gliding and banana boats, sailing, paddle boats, cutters, scooters, rowing boats, tennis courts, beach volleyball, playgrounds, mini-golf, skittle alley, 10 pin bowling, horse riding, fitness centres, go-karting, fishing.
There are 2 water parks nearby . One, 2 miles from Ravda and themed around a castle. The other, Action Aquapark is 1/4 mile behind the complex. Both have a great variety of slides for all ages with bars and restaurants inside the parks.
Nessebur - Not to be missed! Just down the road from Sunny Beach, Its been designated as a world heritage site. The old town dates back around 9000 years with buildings that date back to 11th century. The old part of town has retained its original romantic atmosphere. Narrow cobblestone lanes, tiny squares, souvenier shops, pubs, tavernas and open air concerts/displays make it a fantastic place to visit day or night. There are some fantastic restaurants overlooking the bay.
