Stunning 18th century stone cottage renovated in 2005 to a luxury standard. The cottage sleeps 4/5 people with one twin room and one double, both en-suite. The cottages sit around a beautiful courtyard with a fountain. To the front of the cottages there is a pretty lawned garden, overlooking rolling fields.
Situated close to the village of Castlebellingham one of the prettiest and oldest villages in the region, there are 3 great pubs, a restaurant and several shops. The stunning Cooley Peninsula and mountains are but a short drive, with the Mourne Mountains and national parks just across the bay.

The cottage at Drummeenagh are approximately 250 years old and were renovated in 2005. There is a spacious lounge with TV / DVD, leather furniture and fireplace. There is separate kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances including dishwasher.
The cottage are filled with light as there are many windows overlooking the surrounding countryside. Drummeenagh house is situated to the far side of the courtyard where the owners, Paul and Caroline live, any questions or problems can therefore be dealt with promptly.
Tea and scones are freshly prepared in the cottages for your arrival. Towels and bed linen are included at no extra cost.
The cottage is situated close to the village of Castlebellingham. Also close by is the seaside village of Blackrock where there are further pubs and excellent restaurants overlooking the beach and Cooley Mountains. Dundalk is the nearest large town with a swimming pool, large variety of shops, parks, pubs, restaurants and clubs. Louth, Ireland's smallest county, is a place where thousands of years of history and myth combine in an area of natural scenic beauty with undulating valleys and mountains.
There are a wide variety of attractions and activities all within easy each and the county offers the chance of a truly unique, memorable holiday experience.

There are 9 excellent golf courses in the region including the famous "Baltray" links. Dublin is a 45-minute drive or one hour by train. Belfast is a 70-minute drive or 90 minutes by train. There is a wealth of heritage sites in the region: Newgrange Neolithic passage tombs, the magical hill of Tara, Monasterboice high crosses and many more.
Unspoilt sandy beaches, mountains and hills. Horse riding and trekking available at local cross-country course.
Drummeenagh is ideal for a wide variety of activities. Travelling inland there are lakes for fishing and trails for walking.
Further north is the Cooley peninsula with its stunning scenery, mountains and the medieval town of Carlingford.
A little further north are the Mountains of Mourne and national parks.
