La Grange combines history with modern convenience, providing extremely comfortable and well equipped accommodation for up to 8 people in four bedrooms (two doubles, two twins with bunks, 2 shower rooms, 2 separate wc's).
A beautiful & peaceful location near to all amenities with it's own swimming pool - private & fenced. The swimming pool is for the sole use of La Grange guests, set within the ruined walls of the rear of this old barn creating a quiet suntrap and secure environment for young children.
A spacious double height open plan living room and dining area is well furnished and contains TV/video/DVD player, radio/CD/cassette and is well supplied with books, games etc.
The old dairy is a pretty and well equipped kitchen (extended and refitted 2007) with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric kettle, dishwasher and automatic washing machine.
A step leads to the hallway and a twin bedroom, double bedroom (with French door to the pool area), fully tiled shower room, WC. Antique breakfast table and chairs.
Covered terrace with picnic table, chairs and barbecue. Games room with table tennis, darts, boules etc. Patio doors lead from the living room to the poolside terrace - please note when the property is let, this area is fenced off to comply with safety regulations and access to the pool area is via the games room or the external gate.
First Floor: a wooden staircase leads to a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a fully tiled shower room and a WC.

Local activities in and around Penne D'Agenais, Aquitaine/Dordogne
Golf at the 18 hole courses at Castelnaud de Gratcombe and Chateau des Vigiers. Horse riding at the equestrian centre near Pujols. Tennis is available at nearby Tournon d'Agenais and at Villeneuve sur Lot.
Canoeing and sailing on the River Lot is offered at several locations including Temple sur Lot, Villeneuve, Trentels and Montayral. Cyclists can enjoy pedalling along the banks of the River Lot.
Bergerac airport is about 45 mins., Toulouse about 1 1/2 hours.
For families, Parc Walibi Water Park near Agen provides a great day out as does the Magic Forest at Clairac, the natural caves, the Grottes de Fontirou, and the Chateau Bonaguil near Fumel.
Those in search of a more leisurely holiday can enjoy river trips, strolling through the unspoilt countryside and villages and the Bastides, medieval fortified towns for which the area is famous. Tournon d'Agenais, Monflanquin, Castelmoron sur Lot, Casseneuil, Temple sur Lot and Montaigu de Quercy are all worth visiting; our favourite however is the beautiful Penne d'Agenais which has spectacular views over the River Lot and enjoyable - if steep - walks through its network of narrow lanes filled with beautiful houses, artisans workshops and fine restaurants, notably L'air du Temps and the stylish 'La Maison sur La Place'.
Pujols is notable for its restaurants and historic centre which plays host to an excellent farmers and antiques market on Sunday mornings. The markets are a feature of the area and the farmers markets specialising in local produce can be visited every day in various towns - Villeneuve sur Lot hosts the farmers market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. No visit to the region is complete without sampling the local wines - the vineyards of Duras, Buzet and Cahors are within an hours drive.
