The Coach House lies in its own private garden within an idyllic 28 acre estate with mature gardens, woodland areas and fabulous views over the Lynher valley.
Offering high quality (ETB 4*) accommodation in a tranquil location, it is fully equipped, from dishwasher to DVD. Fittings are of a high standard, with teak flooring in the living and kitchen areas and slate floor in the bathroom. Exposed beams, timber lintels and slate ledges beautifully offset the white stone walls. Centrally heated throughout, it is comfortably furnished with a mixture of antique and modern furniture, with original paintings and sculptures. Attention to detail is paramount, and touches like White Company bathrobes, goose down duvets and hardwood outdoor furniture provide a perfect environment for chilling out in comfort, while there is lots to do locally - whatever the weather.

The perfect romantic retreat for two. The original coach house to the main house (c.1750) has fabulous views over the valley and has been sympathetically restored to a high standard retaining many original features (ETB rated 4*). There is a double height sitting room with dining area, with exposed original roof timbers and lintels.
The lovely galleried bedroom has a king sized bed, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe and cupboards and space for a cot (for those with babies there is an ingenious system which enables you to curtain off the cot area so as not to wake the baby). There is a fully equipped separate oak kitchen with iroko worktop, fridge freezer, combination oven, dishwasher and washing machine as well as cookbooks, chef's knives, stacks of china and glassware and even cake tins!
The bathroom has an impressive slate and glass “wet room” with huge shower area. Downstairs, the flooring is teak block with rugs; upstairs, the bedroom area is carpeted for comfort. A comfortable 3-seater leather sofa and matching armchair are great for lounging around or watching DVDs, and the oak dining table has plenty of space for 2 (or 4, if you have friends over!).
Outside, the Coach House has a private garden with terrace and lawn areas, a built-in barbeque and hardwood benches, table and chairs. The Coach House has ample parking for 2 cars a short distance from its garden.

Seating for 2. There is plenty of room for two at the oak dining table. If you require a high chair, we will make one available for you.
Entertainment:
Terrestrial TV, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. We have 28 beautiful acres for you to explore, with walks, woods and flat games areas for football or frisbee. Inside you will find books and board games, or borrow a DVD from our library.

Local activities in and around Saltash, South West
Coarse fishing and pony riding are available locally, while nearby Siblyback offers fly fishing, windsurfing, sailing and canoeing. 4x4 driving, clay pigeon shooting and archery are available in Callington (4m).
Walkers are spoilt for choice, from local walks in the Tamar and Lynher valleys, to the rugged delights of Bodmin and Dartmoor, as well as the coastal walks. For relaxation, St Mellion offers a Spa, gym, 3 pools and a creche. For children there is loads to do, from the Donkey Park at St Annes Chapel to the Fairy Wood at Carnglaze. There is a monkey sanctuary and an owl sanctuary towards Looe, and Plymouth has a host of indoor and outdoor activities, including the National Marine Aquarium.
The coast is about 10 miles away and there is a wide choice of beaches, from the golden sands of Cawsand and Kingsand, to the lovely long beach walks with interesting rock formations and rock pools of Downderry and Seaton, or rugged cliff tops of Rame Head. Alternatively boat cruises are available from Plymouth and Calstock. The barns are ideally situated for the keen golfer. We are less than 2 miles from St Mellion, with 2 18 hole courses. China Fleet is 4 miles away. Launceston, Lostwithiel and Lanhydrock are all within 15-20 miles, and courses such as St Enodoc at Rock and Trevose at Padstow are within easy reach. The Devonian courses at Yelverton, Tavistock and Dartmouth are also all within easy reach (30-45 minutes drive).
We are close to some spectacular NT properties and other gardens open to the public. The spectacular 15th century Cotehele House is 4 miles away. The splendid Mount Edgcumbe (16th century), is some 10 miles drive. The award-winning gardens of Heligan and the stunning world-renowned Eden project are both less than an hour away, as is Lanhydrock, described as 'one of the most fascinating late 19th-century houses in England'.
