Situated in the quiet area of Ryde off Spencer Road, 5 minutes walk of the centre of Ryde + a great view of the Solent + private slipway access to the beach 2 minutes walk away & 10 minutes walk to the main sandy beach at Ryde. The house faces East - West. In the morning the sun comes into the master bedroom, you have doors on to the balcony with a view of the Solent to Portsmouth. There is always something to see from small yachts to ocean liners and in the evening the far away lights of the mainland. In the afternoon the sun comes into the back of the house. Both the lounge and kitchen have double doors which open on to a 2nd balcony which overlooks the private garden. The house is bright and has been completely re-decorated in the last 18 months with new bathrooms and kitchen.
This 3 bedroomed house has 2 double rooms and a twin. 2 bathrooms and a shower room which is en-suite. The kitchen is new with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave and large 5 hob range cooker with granite work surfaces. The lounge is large with 2 cream leather sofas, plasma fire and TV with Freeview. The dining area is for 6 and looks out on the private rear garden through double doors onto a 2nd balcony.
This area of Ryde is quiet and the house is located in the grounds of the home of the Earls of Spencer (Princess Diana's family) which has now been converted into flats. You are a 2 minute walk from the beach which you reach through a locked private slipway access- exclusive to residents of Westfield Park. You can launch jetski's etc direct into the water at high tide from here. The beach is wide and sandy giving hours of play or long walks along the seashore to Fishbourne with secluded tranquility of woods that come down to the beach.
Please enjoy our new holiday home. The children can walk to the town where 10 pin bowling, ice skating and a large variety of pubs and restaurants are available just 5 minutes away. Also available are tennis courts, traditional sea front entertainments, lawn bowls and Ryde Golf Club is at the end of Spencer Road.
