Away from crowded tourist centers and just minutes walking distance from the village square is your special hideaway. Villa Helidona lies on a side street hidden behind a wall, it is secluded and offers lots of privacy. The villa property entrance leads to an inner courtyard. Once you enter into the courtyard the main building lies in front of you and the west wing to your right.

The position of the villa allows you easily to explore the island, but many of my guests just stay at the villa for it truly peaceful here.
Large private pool 13 x 6 m: the pool area offers complete privacy for sunbathing and swimming. Garden with fruit trees and vegetable garden (all organic) you can help yourself to any ripe fruits or vegetables.
Inner courtyard, terrace, pool area and garden: 800 sq m; living area 200 sq m. In walking distance you will find a baker, pastry shop, butcher, supermarkets and green grocer, tavernas and traditional cafés “kafeneia. There is also a post office, bank (ATM), chemist/pharmacy & medical center.

Nature walks in the extended area with guide if requested (addidtional costs). Paragliding - Avdou 20 min. *Mountain Bike - group excursions Avdou 20 min. *Golf - 18 hole - PGA Design Hersonissos 20 min. *CretAquarium - New Aquarium 32 tanks of sea water with 4.000 Mediterranean organisms. This is part of the “Thalassocosmos” - “Seaworld” building complex of HCMR of Crete, located within the old American Base of Gournes 15 min. *Antiquities - The Minoan Palaces of Knossos, Malia, Phaestos and the city of Gortyna… and so much more!
