The Stables is a cosy self-catering 2 bedroom cottage that has been especially designed with comfort in mind. Located in the pretty village of Constantine, near to the popular sailing town of Falmouth, it provides a great base for coastal walks and cycle rides around the Helford River estuary and Lizard peninsula.
There is a great choice of beautiful sandy beaches, National Trust and other lovely gardens nearby.The National Maritime Museum, St.Michael's Mount and the Seal Sanctuary are all within easy reach.

The heart of the cottage is the slate floored kitchen, which is warmed by the Rayburn oven. It also has an electric oven and hob, 2 fridges and a microwave. There is a highchair, travel cot ,stairgates and baby alarm.
The ground floor bedroom has 2 single beds that can be converted to a double. The master bedroom upstairs is adjacent to the bathroom with rolltop bath, power shower, W.C, washbasin and heated towel rail. All bed linen and towels are provided.
The first floor living room with its exposed roof trusses give a great feeling of space above you, whilst the huge sofa is perfect for cuddling up in front of the wood burning stove. The view from the gable window extends over the church yard to Goonhilly Downs on the Lizard. As well as the colour TV and radio, a large selection of books, videos and board games are available.
This area has a rich history of tin mining and granite quarrying. Walkers and cyclists are spoilt for choice and a variety of guides and maps are provided.
The village Spar shop is a few secondswalk and the Constantine Stores (Post Office) is all of 3 minutes down the hill and sells over 400 whiskies, fine wines and drinks from all over the world.
Owners with pets are always welcome. We charge an extra £25 per dog.

Local activities in and around Falmouth, South West
The village has a great network of local footpaths all annotated in a booklet compiled by a great village patron Ronnie Rashleigh we recommend you follow some of his walks including to the nearby Bluebell Wood or down to Scotts Quay on the Helford River. A 10 minute walk over fields leads down to the Trengilly Wartha pub and restaurant. Highly recommended for an evening stroll and stagger back with a torch.
Within 10 minutes drive is Mawnan Smith and the sub-tropical gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan (National Trust). The Ferry Boat Inn is an ideal starting place to explore the Helford River, a foot ferry plys across to Helford village and walks abound from there on.
The cottage is just a short drive from a number of beaches, both large and small.
Sailing, canoeing and horse riding contacts can be arranged when you arrive or in advance.
