This luxury apartment has been fitted to the highest specification with access to all The Highland Club has to offer, including loch-side restaurant, spa facilities with swimming pool (open late 2009), Highland Club guest lounge (late 2009) & tennis court. The location allows traffic free access to Aonach Mor ski area in the winter months and year round access to the Highlands and all the local outdoor/adventure sports. Set in more than 20 acres, the landscaped private gardens are surrounded on 3 sides by the Caledonian Canal, the River Tarff and the western shores of Loch Ness and boasts its own small harbour and mooring facilities.
This spacious apartment has many original features in particular a beautiful feature fireplace (not in use). Tastefully decorated by Scottish interior design team ANTA, coupled with exquisite funishings and antiques this apartment is very special. The open plan living area is spacious and the kitchen fitted to an exceptional standerd. From this bright room a wall if original arched windows frames the beautiful southerly views over the cloisters.
As a guest you will have access to all The Highland Club has to offer. Facilities included are loch-side restaurant, swimming pool and spa (available late 2009), tennis court, outdoor table tennis, porterage, gun and rod store. Within the stunning grounds outdoor seating, tables and BBQ's are provided for guest use.
Please note that building and restoration work at the Abbey is ongoing and this is reflected in the current tariffs. Please be aware that apartments advertised are finished but due to the nature of the project we cannot guarantee that you may not be inconvenienced.

1 Double Bedroom, 1 Twin Bedroom. 1 bedroom is south facing overlooking the cloisters while the other is East facing towards Loch Ness. The twin bedroom has the flexibility to provide another King size double bed.

2 Bathrooms, 1 Shower, 2 Separate WC's. Master Bedroom has Ensuite shower, bath and toilet. Fittings are of a high standard.
Kitchen:
Cooker, Hob, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The kitchen is fitted out to a very high specification and finished with marble work tops. It is open plan and affords easterly views out towards Loch Ness.

Central Heating, Maid Service, House Linen, Towels Provided. A luxury welcome pack is provided.

Seating for 4. The dining area is open plan to the kitchen/lounge with southerly views over the cloisters.

Local activities in and around Loch Ness, Highlands & Islands
The beautiful beaches of the West Coast of Scotland can be found about an hour away with easy access to Isle of Skye across the new bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh. To the East there are several beaches in the Dornoch/Black Isle area. Fort Augustus has a number of local pubs/restaurants, local supermarket and a variety of gift shops. Whisky Distilleries are in all directions, while for the children, the Hogwart's Express is a train that runs along the valley where Harry Potter was filmed. The nearby ruins of Urquhart Castle, Cawdor Castle and the world famous Eilean Donan Castle are all within an hour's drive. Not forgetting the Loch Ness Visitor's Centre and the monster itself...........
The Highland Club is well signposted from within the village of Fort Augustus and sits on the south western shore of Loch Ness. Inverness airport and railway station are both under an hour by road.
