Overlooking Port Argelès' prestigious marina complex with it's restaurants, bars and boutiques, this large, bright and tastefully furnished penthouse apartment offers magnificent unobstructed views of the Marina, Mediterranean Sea and foothills of the Pyrénées. Argelès' 7km stretch of blue flag sandy beach is just a 2 minute walk away.
Port Argelès is situated in the Pyrénées-Orientales region of Southern France close to the Spanish border and is officially the sunniest region in France with over 300 days of sunshine every year. It is also a stunningly beautiful area with a huge diversity of landscapes.

The apartment is situated on the 4th floor (top floor) and is accessed by lift or stairs. It has three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining and Lounge area.
There is one sofa in the lounge and a sofa/daybed in the middle bedroom. This room can be used as additional sitting room space when not in use as a bedroom. The front terrace (34 square metres) is accessed via doors from each of the three bedrooms. It spans the entire front and half the side of the apartment and directly overlooks the marina and mediterranean sea beyond. It has the perfect vantage point for watching all the activity of the marina.
From the lounge, sliding patio doors open onto the large rear roof terrace (37 square metres) which is perfect for sunbathing and dining or simply relaxing with a glass of wine whilst watching the amazing sunsets. There are stunning panoramic views of the Alberes and Canigou Mountain (snow-capped in winter/spring).
There is one reserved car parking space in the private car park close to the apartment which is entered via electric security barrier. The car parking space has a lockable barrier.

Local activities in and around Argeles Sur Mer, Languedoc-Roussillon
Within the marina a superb selection of restaurants, bars and shops can be found and a large number of leisure activities are available including, scuba diving, wind surfing and sailing to name but a few. Take a leisurely stroll along the promenade lined beach to Argelès-Plage with it's restaurants, bars and shops.
There is one bakers on the ground floor of the apartment block and another 50 yards to the right of the harbour. Small supermarket within the marina. Large Carrefour Supermarket in Argeles and Auchan Supermarket in Perpignan.
There is a large outdoor swimming pool in Argeles village and Aqualand water park at St Cyprien approx 5 miles away.
The nearby village of Racou is a 10 minute walk around the harbour with it's spacious beach and where a further small selection of restaurants and bars can be found.
A tourist train runs throughout the day between Argelès and Racou.
Collioure: 4.5 miles. St Cyprien: 6 miles - 27 hole championship golf course there. Spanish border: 12 miles. Font Romeu: 72 miles - A popular ski resort in winter whilst in summer provides many activities such as white water rafting, canyoning and Mountain biking and is becoming increasingly renowned as a spa location. Carcassonne 96 miles. Barcelona: 117 miles.
By Ferry/Car: Calais 785 miles. By Air: Perpignan 17 miles, Gerona 66 miles. By Motor Rail: Narbonne 55m.

Rental Notes: Changeover day is Thursday. Arrival time not before 4pm, departure time not later than 10am.
Arrival and departure days/times can be flexible in low season.
Sheets and towels not provided but are available for hire. Please bring your own beach towels as these are not provided. Bath mats and tea towels provided.
30% deposit required on booking and balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival date. If your holiday is less than 8 weeks away at the time of booking, the full amount of rent/extras is payable. Refundable deposit payable of £200 against breakages, loss of keys etc.
The apartment is cleaned during changeovers, but not during occupancy of our guests. All supplies to the apartment are electric including the new hot water heater. Electric fans provided.
Keys are collected from our representative at St Cyprien which is approx 16 miles from Perpignan airport. St Cyprien to Argeles is approx 6 miles.
