Casa Timi is located in Vale de Telha just outside the town of Aljezur on the Western Algarve, within the boundaries of a national park. This private home is designed, decorated and fitted out to a very high standard; we offer you the opportunity of enjoying one of the most picturesque locations on the Algarve.
Locally, you can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, excellent restaurants, where the fresh fish dishes are just great! Bars and cafes, sea fishing, horse riding, surf schools, as well as bird watching or hiking in the beautiful ‘Costa Vincentina Natural Park’ where Vale da Telha is situated.
The property sleeps 8 people, in 2 double bedrooms which have en-suite shower rooms and 2 twin bedrooms with a shared bathroom. All bedrooms have ample fitted wardrobes, dressing tables and mirrors. A comfortable spacious lounge with Sky TV (free channels only), DVD and stereo system (films, CDs and books included for your enjoyment).
A separate dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, including microwave, oven & hob, toaster, juicer, espresso coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge and many more extras, so if you wish to cook you can, but whilst visiting do take the time to visit the local restaurants and enjoy local cuisine and wine! There is also a utility room containing washing machine, freezer, 2nd fridge and iron & ironing board!
Outside is our fully enclosed gardens, patio areas, heated swimming pool, (with the option to be enclosed and fully lockable, to give parents peace of mind). There is a new BBQ, with sink for washing veg etc and pizza oven, ample sun loungers, tables and chairs for alfresco dining, where you can relax from breakfast through till late evening, with uninterrupted sea views. There is a sand pit for the children, with buckets and spades included!
All windows and doors have external shutters, which helps to keep the house cool during the long Algarve summers. All windows have mosquito screens, so they can be left open at night, without fear of any unwanted creepy crawly visitors! A welcome pack of bread & butter, ham & cheese, tea, coffee, milk, sugar and water will be available on your arrival.
Far from the crowds, but within striking distance of some of the best beaches in Europe, 5 min drive from the picturesque beach of Monte Clerigo and 7 mins from Arrifana, 25 mins from the bustling town of Lagos, 20 mins from Sagres, 5 mins from Aljezur and 25 mins from Boavista Golf Course.

Local activities in and around Aljezur, Western Algarve
The nearest accessible beaches are about a 5 minute drive. To the north is Monte Clerigo, a very wide sandy beach, and to the south is Arrifana with it spectacular cliffs, small harbour and fishing vessels. Both beaches have lifeguards during the summer period and the villages have restaurants and bars. There are many other fantastic beaches eg. Amoreira, Carriagem and Bordeira slightly further away.
The Boavista and Palmares golf courses are about a ˝ hour drive and Parque da Floresta, Penina and Alto Club are not much further.
The nearest airport is Faro. It takes just over an hour by car, mainly along a motorway. Car hire really is essential but taxis can be arranged.
The seaside villages of Arrifana and Monte Clerigo are about 5 kms. It is 8 kms to the picturesque market town of Aljezur (known for its goose barnacle and sweet potato festival) with its castle, museums and old fashioned food market. It is 30 kms to the town of Monchique, famous for its spa, sausages, cured ham and its surrounding mountain range. It is also about 30 kms to the large town of Lagos with its marina, palm tree lined promenade, large selection of shops and restaurants.
The nearest shop and restaurant/café in Vale da Telha. Restaurants serving local fish can also be found in Arrifana, Monte Clerigo and Vales, where there is also a cash machine. It is 7 kilometres to Aljezur with its local supermarkets, shops, post office, banks, sports centre, cafes, bars, restaurants and old fashioned food market.
The nearby beaches are known for their surfing and Arrifana has the reputation of being the most versatile surfing spot in the South of Portugal.
There is also a site of archaeological interest on the cliff top near Casa Horizonte and near Arrifana.
Tennis, walking, bird watching, fishing and horse riding are all to be found in Vale da Telha.
