Wreckers Cottage, a 200 yr old cottage overlooking the bay and harbour, is only a minute's walk to a child-friendly beach and picturesque harbour. You can park up the car at the start of the holiday, safe in the knowledge that all you need is only a short walk away - the local pubs, the convenience store, farm shop, newsagent, butchers, bakers...

This oak beamed cottage has 2 double bedrooms overlooking the bay and a small bunk-bedded room; a bathroom with its own roll-top bath, and a shower room with a 2nd wc. There is a dining area and lounge with an open fire, flat screen TV, dvd and video. The new oak kitchen has an electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine. There is also a small games room with a pool table and darts board, whilst to the rear of the property there is a small raised patio area with its own garden furniture and bbq for entertaining. Gas, electricity and coal are all included.
Nominated as an area of outstanding natural beauty, Anglesey boasts hundreds of coastal walks, clean beaches and dramatic headlands. The island is renowned for its peace and quiet, tiny fishing villages, tranquil coves and fabulous cliff walks with ever-changing views. For the more active, the island is home to a maritime and childhood museum, 2 leisure centres, golf course, fishing trips, art galleries, heritage centres, a castle, victorian gaol and courthouse, butterfly palace, sea zoo, stone science centre, model village, to name but a few. If this isn't enough, Snowdonia is only 30 miles away, or for a more cultural experience, you can sail to Dublin in less than 2 hours. Cemaes itself, is a picturesque character village with its very own harbour and two pretty beaches, as well as 2 pubs, 2 hotels, the village also boasts a butcher, baker, convenience store, bank, pharmacy, salon, farmshop and heritage centre.

Rental Notes: Like many cottages of its age, this one comes with ceilings and doorways of various heights, all generally lower than modern homes; and many of the rooms are on different levels. This all adds to the charm of the cottage, but if you do have any questions regarding accessibility, then please do not hesitate to contact the owners.
Changeover day is Saturday. Please arrive at the cottage after 5pm, and arrange to vacate the cottage by noon at the latest. This will allow us to ensure that the cottage is cleaned thoroughly.
