This beautiful villa stands in the heart of Tuscany overlooking the village of Caprese Michelangelo where the great artist Michelangelo was born and lived. The pool with desending Roman steps sits in an olive grove. The villa contains three exclusive luxury suites which are fully self contained and have been elegantly restored using chestnut beams and terracotta.
The 10 acre estate of fields, orchards and olive groves provides a truly Italian holiday in the most beautiful surroundings.
The entrance opens into the hall and in front of you is the stone staircase with wrought iron balcony and handrail. On the right is a large bathroom with sunken bath, toilet and bidet.
At the top of the stairs is an exquisite twin room containing two cream and gold distressed coloured wrought iron beds with pink floral decoration and crystal chandelier with pink glass. There is a wardrobe and bedside cabinets with pink lamps and en suite toilet.
Across the balcony is the kitchen, fully equipped with fridge freezer, cooker and utensils, an old-fashioned pantry, wooden table and chairs for dining. The second twin or double bedroom contains two black and gold distressed wrought iron beds, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets with lamps and en suite shower room with toilet and bidet.
Outside the entrance door, which opens onto a beautiful courtyard, is a wrought iron dining table and chairs. This elegant suite can accommodate 4 people.
The beautiful swimming pool with Roman steps and Jacuzzi overlooking the wonderful view of Caprese Michelangelo offers complete relaxation. Waiter service for drinks by the pool. Maid and cook available upon request.
All three suites open onto a beautiful Tuscan courtyard, with large gazebo, gently shaded by vines, Jasmine and Kiwi. This is a wonderful area to relax and enjoy a drink, particularly in the evenings when the area is softly lit.

This beautiful villla stands in the heart of Tuscany overlooking the village of Caprese Michelangelo where the great artist Michelangelo was born and lived. The little chapel where he was baptised is in the village and a museum dedicated to him is within the castle of Michelangelo.
Nearby at La Verna is the Franciscan monastery retreat where St Francis of Assisi is said to have recieved the Stigmata. Rich in Renaissance history are the local towns of Sansepolcro, Cortona and the medieval walled town of Anghiari.
The villa is set in 10 acres of the most beautiful mountain forests and is surrounded by olive groves. Florence and Rome are easily accessed by car or train. Ideal for walking and cycling the area is home to many fine restaurants with truffles and mushrooms being a local speciality. The mountains and forests have inspired the three greatest artists of the Renaissance.
This tranquil position, frequently described as paradise on earth, contains an abundance of wildlife where the birds sing all night and fireflies provide a moving display of sparkling light. In years gone by, the villa was owned by the Vatican, and was used to house monks from the monastery.
