In the very heart of the charming Tuscan countryside, among the smooth hills of Sienese Chianti and the fragrance of its green vineyards, you will find the Podere Lucignano Secondo Agriturismo, a mansion built in 1898, now elegantly restored and turned into an exclusive relais. The Podere Lucignano Secondo Agriturismo, ideal place for lovers of relax and nature as well as food-and-wine connoisseurs, provides its guests with a warm welcome and an exclusive service.
The Villa is divided in 2 apartment: the apartment “Le Logge”. First floor: 3 en-suite twin/double bedrooms each with private toilet/bathroom, 1 living/dining room with kitchen-area and fireplace, 1 sitting room with fireplace. Ground floor: 1 sitting room opening onto the garden, 1 panoramic terrace, park, private parking. The rustic apartment “La Mangiatoia”. Ground floor: 2 twin/double bedrooms with 1 shared toilet/bathroom, 1 kitchen, 1 living/dining room with fireplace, 1 panoramic terrace, park, private parking.
Apartment "Le Logge": Blue Room overlooks the vineyard stretched out on the opposite hill. Bathroom, provided with a comfortable bathtub and double Carrara marble wash-basin, gives onto the cherry-trees below. Green Room overlooks the wide Tuscan cotto terrace, placed in a panoramic position in the garden below. In the cosy bathroom there is an uncommon shower provided with a porthole looking onto the surrounding green woods. Red Room has two corner-windows facing north, with a view of the charming ridge of Chianti mountains. This room as well has a bathroom with a shower. In the elegant Sitting Room there are two comfortable, large sofas and a marble and Tuscan cotto fireplace. Spacious Living/Dining Room is provided with a kitchen-area and a big fireplace, which will warm your after-dinner relax in the small sitting area, furnished with two comfortable armchairs. The Logge is a typical ground-floor portico in Alberese stone and Tuscan cotto, turned into an elegant sitting room looking out onto the garden.
Apartment "La Mangiatoia": Yellow Room, comfortable and full of light, has two windows and one glass door opening onto the garden. It is divided into 2 areas: the night-time area, with a comfortable tester bed; the reading area, with a small table and a cosy armchair. Shared toilet is provided with a shower and double Carrara marble wash-basin. Pink Room has two windows: one opens onto the pine-trees of the garden, the other on the impressive ridge of the Chianti mountains. Living/Dining Room, spacious and elegant, is provided with a big country-style fireplace between two comfortable armchairs and one nice little sofa. Dining area is always full of light thanks to the window and the two glass doors opening onto the garden. Kitchen is provided with cooking top, oven, dishwasher and double sink.
