Ground floor: A light and spacious living room leading on to a private terrace. There is a sofa, a satellite TV, dining table and chairs complete the ensemble. The kitchen area is fully equipped with fridge, gas hob, electric oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of oak units for storage.
First floor: The double bedroom is comfortably furnished a double bed, built-in wardronbe and storage facilities. An en suite shower room with washhand basin and large shower, plus seperate WC completes your comfort.
Private terrace and Courtyard: The sunny terrace and courtyard are ideal for lazing. Garden furniture, including tables, chairs and sun-loungers is provided, as well as a barbecue, indispensable for holiday dining. The six acres of parkland are at the disposal of guests, with plenty of mature trees providing welcome shade.

Le Puyssaguet is just a stone's throw from the centre of the sleepy village of Agris, where you will find a grocer, a café, a restaurant, and a post office. There are also 2 tennis courts and a horse riding centre within easy reach.
A five minute stroll will take you into the Braconne Forest where you can spend time discovering some of the suggested walks.
Five miles away is the little town of La Rochefoucauld with its superb castle, parts of which date back to the eleventh century. The Chateau is open to the public and is well worth a visit, as are the carmelite cloisters in the town. Every Saturday there is a small market in the church square and on the tenth of each month there is a larger market which runs the length of the high street. La Rochefoucauld also has lots of shops and restauraunts, 2 supermarkets and a swimming pool.
Our position in the middle of the Charente is ideal for discovering the countryside of the Charente Limousine to the east, which is also called the Swiss Charente. To the west are the vineyards of Cognac and its many distilleries, which are open to visitors. To the south you can take in the atmosphere of the Dordogne, Aubeterre and its monolithic church.
An hour and half by car will take you to Futuroscope at Poitiers or the beaches on the Atlantic coast. Visit la Rochelle, and the islands of Ré, Oléron or Aix (2 hours).
In the vicinity, there are numerous Roman churches, picturesque villages amphitheatres - Chassenon for example. The lakes of Lavaud, Mas Chaban, St Yriex and St. Estèph are also worth visiting.
Angoulême, with its ramparts, its cathedral and the old town is half an hour away. In the museum you can see the celtic gold helmet discovered in Agris which is a unique piece and sometimes shown in the Louvre, as well as abroad.
