Lundy Cottage lies in the heart of the historic fishing village of Port Isaac. It is full of old world charm, with slate floors, beams and a log fire. Only 30 paces from the sea at high tide, you can lie in bed and listen to the waves and the fishermen bringing in the daily catch.
Lundy Cottage sleeps five people in two double and one single bedroom. Downstairs it has an open plan lounge/dining room with CD player, lots of books, children's toys and board games. Lundy Cottage has a fully equipped galley kitchen. It has one bathroom with a bath and power shower.
Port Isaac has two pubs, several excellent restaurants and two teashops. There is a small supermarket, a bakery a deli, and a fishmongers so all your culinary needs are catered for.
Children can enjoy exploring the rock pools and caves on the beach. There is the local inshore lifeboat to visit, as well as a small aquarium with the largest lobster in the world. Within walking distance is a farm where you can buy eggs for breakfast and watch the chickens who have laid them!
A little further afield there are great swimming and surfing beaches. Surfing lessons can be arranged at Polzeath, and the Extreme Academy at Watergate bay can arrange more daring pursuits like kite surfing.

CD System, Board Games. The high cliffs mean that tv signal is poor in Port Isaac. We do not have a television, but do have lots of books, board games and a cd player. This gives visitors a proper chance to unwind!

Local activities in and around Port Isaac, South West
Port Isaac is a very active local community. The local fisherman's choir - "The Fisherman's Friends'" sing every Friday on the Platt, during the Summer months, and the St. Breward Brass Band play every Thursday.
Lundy cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Cornwall. Tintagel, Boscastle and Bodmin moor are only a short distance away. If you are looking for an active holiday, the surfing beaches of Polzeath and Newquay are nearby, and the Eden project is only 40 mins away.
St Endellion music festival
Held in nearby St. Endellion the St endellion festival of music takes place each Easter and Summer. Lundy Cottage is perfect base for enjoying the wide range of classical music on offer
Rental Notes: Lettings run from Saturday to Saturday during peak months. Outside of peak times we can often be more flexible about arrival days, and offer short breaks.
