The house is in the peaceful and very attractive community of "Fuentes de Almuņecar" (Fountains of Almunecar), perched on a hilltop overlooking a spectacular coastline and backed by ranges of hills. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with lush sub-tropical vegetation, trees, fountains and waterfalls. There are two communal pools, one an 'infinity' pool. The pools are generally open May to September.
A variety of holidays can be enjoyed year-round, including relaxing by the pool, visiting nearby beaches, water sports, horse riding, scuba diving, golf and walking in the countryside. Skiing is available in the winter and spring. The attractive and interesting town of Almunecar is 5 minutes away by car. Granada, Seville, the Sierra Nevada mountains and the mountain villages of the Alpujarras are all within easy reach.
The Costa Tropical is mild in the winter and relatively cool and comfortable during the summer, with more than 320 sunny days each year.
The Almunecar town centre maintains its authentically Spanish character while welcoming international visitors. The winding passages of the old quarter are well worth exploring. The town also has several markets, some very good restaurants, a castle, a bird park, several beaches and a water park. Modern supermarkets, banks and other facilities are also available.
The magnificent city of Granada with its spectacular Alhambra palace is only 40 minutes away, with high quality skiing in the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains from December to April. Seville, another great destination, can be reached in 3 hours.
The new, roomy and fully-equipped 4-bedroom house (one double, three twins) is on the corner of a group of four units. There are three floors and a large terrace. The total indoor area is 125 m2. There are two full bathrooms, one en suite with two showers, plus an extra WC. One bedroom has a private terrace. The interior is spacious and the ceilings high, contributing to a light and open atmosphere. Eight people are very comfortable here.
The main terrace has a 180 degree panorama view and is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing meal or sunbathe. The terrace is equipped with a dining table, chairs and sun beds.
Air conditioning and central heating ensures that the house is comfortable year round.
