Along the Esplanade there is a ten-pin bowling alley with children’s play area, ice rink, marina, bowling greens and small fun fair. There is also a canoe lake, paddling pool and a swimming pool with retractable roof. Ryde town centre is only a few minutes drive away with its wide variety of shops and supermarkets, also the Fastcat ferry link and Hovercraft are within close proximity. Appley Manor, which serves excellent food, is within a two-minute walk.
