Within 2 miles of Bobble Cottage there are several attractions to explore and many eateries. In Bourton On The Water there is a model village, Birdland- a large collection of unusual bids including penguins etc, a Motor Museum which houses many vintage cars and is the home to BRUM off childrens television, (just ask any under 5 they will know who I mean.) There are many walks and cycles in the area many with pubs situated along the way, details always available in the cottage.
For the more adventurous, there is the Cotswold Wildlife Park just 6 miles away and many National Trust properties and stateley homes to explore. Whether you prefer fine dining or a good old english afternoon tea, you can find many good quality eateries in the area and some interesting take outs!
For the warm lazy days of summer there is a lido at Chipping Norton where you can bathe and relax in the sunshine.
Birdland Park and Gardens
Birdland is set in woodland, river and gardens and is inhabited by 500 birds. There are picnic areas, childrens play areas and over 50 aviaries of unusual birdlife
