A Two bedroom beautifully restored quaint four star (Wales Tourist Board/Visit Wales) terraced holiday cottage with idyllic cottage front and back gardens. In heart of Reynoldston Village deep in Gower Peninsula, a short walk to great real ale pub/restaurant. Multifuel log/coal burner, equipped with mod cons. 10 mins from almost any Gower beach, and great country walks close by.
Children of all ages welcome. Games provided. The cottage sleeps 5 - one King Size bed (pocket sprung) in back bedroom, and both a 4ft bed (i.e. a threequarter bed) and a single bed in the front bedroom. We recommend two couples and one child or a family of six (two adults, and up to three kids). These beds are brand new (summer 06) and KS has a pocket sprung mattress. We have bought quality linen and cotton pillows/duvets. Lounge contains new suite consisting of 2x three seater sofas and one armchair. Sorry but strictly no smoking or pets.
Blackheath Cottage is a cosy 2 bedroom mid terrace Victorian cottage in prime location. The cottage has two upstairs bedrooms, and downstairs is found the bathroom, front living room, well equipped galley kitchen and conservatory/diner. French doors lead from both the conservatory/diner and also seperately from the Kitchen out onto a small quaint patio area. Lawned strip terrace garden 50ft long. The cottage faces a picturesque stream and pond. Shop/Post Office close.
Recently completely refurbished this cottage throughout (yet we have sought to retain all traditional features. D/stairs Bathroom with new bath and MIRA 10.8Kw shower over new enamelled bath, Edwardian sink. Heating via oil Combi condenser boiler. Each radiator has a thermostatic valve. Constant hot water available via combi. Enjoy the log-burner/multifuel (coal available, 1st bag or coal and bag of logs supplied free of charge with pack of firelighters). SKY TV in the lounge (TV licence paid) includes Sky SPorts 1-3 and Sky Movies and Discovery/History. PURE digital radios in each bedroom to accompany the bedside lamps and main bedlight cord.
We have sought to ensure the kitchen has all amenities you are likely to want hence it has a new Siemens fridge, Siemens freezer, Caple Wine cooler cabinet (there is a courtesy bottle of wine awaiting you, on the house). Also supplied fitted are washing machine, a vented tumble dryer, a 12 place dishwasher, a six burner Gas stove with vented hood, and an eye level s/steel fitted microwave.
We have a small conservatory dining room with French doors to garden, in which sits a pine table and six chairs. , Denby Cinnamon crockery.
Sorry no smoking, no pets.
Ideally suited for two couples or a family, for Gower walks, beach, golf, fishing, etc.

Seating for 6. Pine table in conservatory / diner with French Doors to small cottage garden patio. Pine Welsh Dresser in dining room. We offer 'Denby Cinnamon' quality crockery tasteful cutlery. You break we pay.

Terrestrial TV, Satellite TV, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. 32" wscreen TV SKY Sports 1, 2 and 3, SKY Movies (+Disc/history) and DVD Player. DigRadio. Panasonic CD/radio portable, with relaxation music CDs provided and remote control. Several DVDs/games.

Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. Not a huge back garden but proportionally long/ quaint. Parking is on road outside. Room for 2nd car slightly up road 15 yds. Small patio sitting area outside French doors from Kitchen and Diner.

See our website for more links and information e.g. cinema and theatre. The Cottage is situated within a 5 mins drive of best Gower beaches. Much wildlife abounds in this location. Excellent location for all sorts of outdoor activities available locally such as walking, cycling, golf (five golf courses on Gower – namely Pennard, Gower, Langland, Fairwood, and Clyne), hang/para gliding, rockclimbing, archery, sea angling, birdwatching, scuba diving, or just a day out at the beach - all on Gower.
Close to other Gower villages such as Burry Green, Port Eynon, Horton, Oxwich, Rhossilli, Llanrhidian, Llandimore, Cheriton, and Llanmadoc each combining to provide year round fun and activities for all tastes e.g. amateur theatre, pony show, village fetes, carnival, folk club, french night, garden visiting weekend, agricultural/country show (the Gower show). Keen twitchers will be attracted to the Penclacwydd Wildfowl Centre near Llanelli (25 minutes away), or Llanrhidian Marshes where Oystercatchers, Little Egrets and Herons abound. Gower is a birdwatchers paradise.
Excellent pubs and real ale found in many local pubs such as the Greyhound Inn and The North Gower Inn (both Llanrhidian), The Britannia (Llanmadoc), The King Arthur (Reynoldston), the Smugglers and the Ship Inn (both Port Eynon), The Gower Inn (Parkmill), The Oxwich Bay Hotel (Oxwich), the Kings Head (Llangennith), and the Rhossilli Inn (Rhossilli) which are all between one and twelve minutes drive from Blackheath Cottage.
