Our last available week this year begins July 5th. Tresahor Vean Barn is situated in the Helford River area, in the middle of the countryside. It is a double storey building, converted from the stables and hayloft which once served Tresahor Vean Farm.
The barn is in its own garden, with patio views of a valley of woodland and fields. It is detached, facing into the old farm yard, but at the back opens out into lawn and field. It is situated at the end of a 1/4 mile track, in seven acres of fields and ten year old woodland, with a tiny brook marking the west boundary of the holding.
The footpath from Tresahor Vean takes you two miles over fields and bluebell woods to the village of Constantine. The Helford River and the coast are four miles away.

In the main body of the barn are the four bedrooms - two on each floor, with a bathroom with bath, overhead shower and wc on the top floor, and a shower room and wc on the ground floor.
The first floor has a large triple aspect bedroom with stone stairs down to the garden, and a smaller bedroom which you can get two single beds into. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms about 11 ft square, one with a double bed, the other with two singles.
There are two single storey areas with their original floor length arched windows, in one is the living room, and in the other, the kitchen diner. This room has doors out to the patio. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, six burner range, microwave etc., and there is a washing machine and dryer in the downstairs shower room. There is also a freeview tv, and dvd, video and cd players.
Furnishings throughout are of natural materials, with an emphasis on style and comfort.
To the side of the house there is parking for three cars. To the back of the house is the garden, in all about 1/5 acre. This has garden furniture, table tennis table and barbeque.

Tresahor Vean is situated in the narrowest part of Cornwall, with easy access to both South and North Coasts and to the Helford River. It is an area reknowned for its watersports, birdwatching, coastal and country walking.
The nearest village of Constantine has its own riding stables and a museum and arts centre, where the world famous Kneehigh theatre company launch their smaller productions!
There are gardens and art galleries to visit and good cooking to sample both locally, at the prize winning Trengilly Wartha pub, and further afield towards Falmouth.

Rental Notes: The change over day is Saturday, and Tresahor Vean is available from 4 p.m. onwards. The owners live in the studio accommodation which can be seen in one of the exterior pictures, so are usually on hand to answer any queries!
