Oakridge St Mellion is truly something special. You will be staying on a safe private holiday estate adjoining the fairways of the renowned St Mellion Golf & Country Club. Accessed via a long ½ mile drive and set in 35 acres of grounds, you instantly feel that you have truly got away from it all. For golfers, the two free golf memberships are simply the icing on the cake.
Designed by a well-known local architect these stunning properties were built in 1998 using local materials. The upside down design makes maximum use of the great views and floor to ceiling windows. The vaulted ceilings and large lounge areas enhance that feeling of light and space.
You will get gracious surroundings, a lovely setting, close to good transport links with free golf, wonderful views and possibly the best sports and leisure facilities in Cornwall. Uniquely, the club can be accessed by a private entrance a short walk (20 minutes) from the club house.

"Treetops" has an enviable position on this exclusive estate. This detached lodge is situated in the very last group of cottage it overlooks the "Old Course" at St. Mellion. With the private entrance to St mellion only 20 metres away the club is only a short hike away. There you will enjoy access to the superb sports and leisure facilities at St Mellion.
Treetops comes with a very high level of furnishing and decor. Downstairs: The main bedroom is exceptionally large for a holiday cottage. It has a king-size solid wood and wrought iron bed and large walk in wardrobes. The en-suite bathroom is fully tiled and has a bath and power shower. The second bedroom has twin beds, a large wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with bath and power shower.
Upstairs, Treetops benefits from a sunny, modern open plan setting. the furniture is of the highest quality with flat screen TV with video and DVD player and a top quality sound system. The lounge area is bright and airy with floor to ceiling windows, exposed beams and vaulted ceilings. There is an open fireplace to ensure that evenings can be spent in comfort. During the summer the french windows open out the balcony. The lounge is nicely finished off with some pieces of antique furniture and china (although these are kept out of reach of young ones so don't worry!)The dining area seats four in comfort. It has great views out of the large windows.
Outside The large wrap-around balcony has plenty of room and there is also a downstairs patio with barbecue.

Cotehele House, just minutes from St Mellion, is one of the nicest National Trust properties in Cornwall.
Food & Drink: This part of Cornwall is a gold mine for those who love food and drink or those who simply like to eat & drink! Great local pubs and 2 of the best restaurants in Cornwall right on your doorstep in Callington. Or buy superb local produce from one of many nearby farm shops!
