The self catering holiday cottage is newly built and decorated to a high standard, giving cosy and comfortable surroundings for a well deserved holiday in the Scottish Highlands.
Braemhor Cottage is situated in its own private grounds in the small crofting settlement of Blarmafoldach. The location has all the joys of the countryside yet is conveniently located only 3 miles from the Fort William town centre. So, whether you have just finished the West Highland Way or are climbing Ben Nevis and fancy a break to recover or just want to relax and escape from it all, Brae Mhor Cottage is the place for you.
The accommodation on the ground floor consists of a kitchen/diner, sitting room, en-suite bedroom, utility room and a small cloakroom w.c. The first floor contains two bedrooms and a bathroom with a spacious gallery area.
The kitchen is bright and airy and fully fitted with an oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave, and dishwasher for your convenience. The dining area is situated within the kitchen and has French Doors which lead out onto the garden. The utility room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing board. The boiler for central heating is also located here and gives off a nice warmth ideal for drying off wet garments.
The cosy sitting room has spectacular views of Ben Nevis and is furnished comfortably with a leather suite and all mod cons such as Sky TV, DVD player, a Hi-fi and some board games. A selection of DVDs and Cds are available for your use.
The bedroom on the ground floor is comfortably furnished with a Kingsize bed and a spacious en-suite with shower. Again it has a beautiful views of Ben Nevis. The two bedrooms upstairs contain zip-link beds which can be used either as twins or together as a superking. Each room contains a wardrobe and drawers for your convenience. The luxurious bathroom contains a bath and a separate shower and has stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
At the top of the stairs is a reading area with a large comfy seat and bookcase with a range of books, including a selection on local interest.

Local activities in and around Fort William, Highlands & Islands
Nevis Range is a year round tourist destination with ski-ing in the winter months, plenty of tracks for mountain biking and walking or enjoy the breathtaking views from Britain 's only mountain gondola.
Visit Glen Nevis, famous for its natural beauty where Braveheart and Rob Roy were filmed, and overlooked by mighty Ben Nevis. The Glen Nevis Visitor Centre is worth a visit for more information.
Crannog Cruises enjoy a trip down Loch Linnhe to Seal Island to observe a colony of seals on their home environment and enjoy the spectacular view to be had from the loch.
Glenfinnan itself, with the magnificent viaduct and famous monument to Bonnie Prince Charlie is well worth a visit.
Vertical Descents offers a variety of outdoor activities including mountain biking, canonying, climbing, paintballing, and 4x 4 offroading with trainers on hand for a great day of adventure.
Raceway Karting Centre for go-karting fun at Blar Mhor, just outside Fort William, one mile from the town centre.
There is plenty to do in the area when the weather is inclement (as it occasionally is...) The following are some suggestions:
West Highland Museum in Fort William town Centre hosts a wealth of collections on local history along with natural history, geology and its world renowned Jacobite collection.
The Ice Factor contains the biggest ice climbing facility in the world as well as a rock climbing wall and bouldering wall. Sessions are run for children and adults alike.
Ben Nevis Distillery meet Hector McDram, take a tour of the production area and finish with a tasting session.
Jacobite Steam Train, passing through some beautiful scenery over the Glenfinnan Viaduct to the village of Mallaig. The Jacobite Steam Train was used in the Harry Potter Films and has proved a great tourist attraction!
