Local activities in and around Playa de Las Americas, Tenerife
Torviscas has been a firm favourite with holidaymakers for the past few years. Situated beside the Torviscas beach which runs into the Faņabe beach. These beaches are kept very clean whilst been children friendly. There are many watersports from pedalos to jet skis. Along the long promenade are the countless restaurants and boutiques. If you love chicken then Othellos is the place to go. We can reccommend this restaurant as the chicken (they only do chicken so dont ask for steak) is the best in the south.
Torviscas is nestled nicely inbetween Faņabe and San Eugenio. In San Eugenio one has the lovely shopping centre which has the famous Mango Clothes Outlet, great prices for clothes and shoes, so make sure you come with an empty suit case. This is good for stocking up on winter jumpers and coats! On the other side you have Faņabe which leads onto the El Duque Area, again only a short walk away but fabulous designer boutiques along with quality restaurants.
Remember the famour Puerto Colon Harbour is only a 10 minutes walk away! So ideal for having a drink and watching the sunset go down behind La Gomera.
