The large communal pool also commands panoramic sea views, the beach is two kilometres long with windsurfing and catameran hire. Alcaidesa has the only links golf course in the Costa Del Sol, this is ten mins walk from the apartment. Valderrama and San Roque and Sotogrande are just a 10 mins drive. The windsurfing and kite surfing mecca of Tarifa is an easy 35 mins drive.Rhonda and Seville are also an attractive daytrip option.

It's perfectly positioned for golf with the only links course in the Costa Del Sol, and it only ten mins drive from Valderrama and San Roque. Sotogrande is equally close with it chic marina and Port Duquesa, Estepona and Puerto Banus are all within a 30 mins drive.
In the opposite direction Tarifa on the Atlantic coast is an easy drive, this is a mecca for kite surfers and windsurfers. In land the stunning Andalucian interior is easily accessible and the pretty hill top towns of Casares, Gaucin and Jimena De La Frontera are well worth a visit.

Alcaidesa is a very pretty seaside town with a wonderful 2 km beach. Its family friendly with safe bathing and full beach facilities with cafe, restaurante, volleyball etc. The pretty plaza has a generl store, restaurante, chemist etc and the 2 stunning Alcaidesa links golf courses are only a 5 minute drive..with new clubhouse and full facililties. Numerous other courses are a 30 min drive ..such as Sotogrande and Valderama. Alcaidesa is a great base for some of Souther spain's best touist attractions such as Rhonda and Seville. Gibraltar, Tangiers and Tarifa are all daytrip options.
Gibraltar 15 mins..Malaga 1 hour. Exit 24 motorway..clearly marked to Alcaidea..Alcaidesa Village 200m before Plaza and Seafront.
