There are many footpaths, bridle ways and quiet lanes to explore Only 4 miles from the picturesque town of Cranbrook which has many weatherboard buildings, quaint shops, pubs. tea rooms, restaurants and sports centre. There are many places to visit in the local area. Cranbrook windmill. Sissinghurst Castle and gardens, Scotney Castle, Bewl water and Bedgebury Pinetum. Staplehurst Railway station is only 15 minutes away with fast service to London. The village of Hawkhurst is near by with shops that sell local produce (including produce from the owners farm)

There is ample parking beside the cottage with access via 3 steps down to the pathway leading to the cottage. A stable door lead directly into the bright modern property which has solid oak flooring throughout. The kitchen area at one end has white shaker style wall and floor units with marble effect work tops. There is a hob. dishwasher, microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment.
The living area has a large sofabed, armchairs, TV/DVD, table and chairs. There is a woodburning stove on a brick hearth. A storage cupborad houses the automatic washer/ dryer and ironing board. A second stable door leads onto the rear grassed garden that overlooks a pond ( fenced from guests)available for carp fishing with charge applicable . The Two bedrooms , one twin and one double are both furnished in pine with bedside chests and lamps. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over. Washbasin, W.C. and heated towel rail/radiator. At the front of the property is a spacious gravel seating area with table, chairs and barbecue/patio heater.
