Hire a bike and enjoy the freedom of a cycle ride through country lanes, or take to the saddle for a days pony trekking in the Black Mountains. Get to see the countryside from a different angle with sweeping views of rugged escarpments and untamed moorland.
Or maybe do something you’ve only ever dreamt about? Then try a tandem paragliding or hanggliding flight at Abergavenny, where on competition days you'll be able to see a myriad of coloured specks launch from the Blorenge mountain and land in Castle Meadows.
Golfers are more than catered for , there is the Marriott St. Pierre at Chepstow, and of course the famous Celtic Manor course at Newport (about 25mins)tto name just two sites.
Shopping at Bristol, Cardiff or Gloucester is less than an hour away with a huge range of shops theatres and restaurants to suite everyone.
Turn up by the Royal George Hotel. Carry on for about 1/3mile. The road splits - take the left road up a hill. Ty Gwyn is on your left - parking space just after.
