This traditional three bedroomed cottage captures the magnificent views of the river Dee and valley,the Berwyn range and the Kings bridge. It is situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Easily accessed by a quiet lane and having ample, secure, private parking, gardens, lawns, patio and barbeque area. The immediate area is renowned for its walking, canoeing, kayaking, white waters rafting,horse riding,trail rides,fishing,golf and many other outdoor pursuits. This spacious and comfortable self catering cottage is accredited with a 4 star **** grading by visitwales croesocymru (The Welsh tourist board). Wireless broadband internet. The town is only 20/25 minutes walk alongside the banks of the Llangollen canal & the river Dee, there are taxis and a regular bus service runs close by the cottage. The ideal location !
The cottage is an ideal base for exploring the many attractions that this wonderful part of the world has to offer. This fully double-glazed cottage is the perfect venue for a relaxing or action packed short break or longer stay. The conservatory to the front of the property enables you to enjoy the stunning views over a morning coffee/evening wine!
The lounge is comfortably furnished, has a wood block floor and open fireplace providing a relaxing atmosphere after an enjoyable day. The spacious dining room with its Inglenook fireplace and woodburning stove provides a perfect ambience for a family meal/dinner for two! The dining table seats six. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a breakfast table and four chairs. The downstairs bathroom is part tiled and has a full sized bath with thermostatic shower, wash handbasin and WC. Upstairs there are three good sized bedrooms, comprising double, king size and a twin bedroom. All with modern wardrobes and bedroom furniture. Two of the bedrooms have stunning views to the front and the third, to the rear, looks out onto green fields and the hillside.
The cottage has full central heating and double glazing, there is a continuous supply of hot water provided by the LPG combi boiler. The garden is private and there is ample space for children to play. The land slopes gently and the property is well lit at night. Altogether a perfect venue! The popular and picturesque town of Llangollen with its all year round cultural and leisure activities, is just over a mile along the valley. The town has many gift/craft shops, restaurants, wine bars and coffee houses. The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod takes place annually in July bringing together many famous artists. The spectacular hot air balloon festival is a sight not to be missed in September!
