Studland is in the heart of a National Trust area and, as a result, is unspoilt and peaceful - ideal for anyone looking for a quiet holiday, or a short break. The safe, sandy beach is about half a mile away – an easy drive by car or a beautiful walk over fields. There is a network of paths over the heath, which can be accessed from the front gate. For golfers, the nearby Isle of Purbeck Golf Course offers a challenging 18-hole course and an easier 9-hole course. Both courses have stunning views of Poole Harbour. Ornithologists will be interested in the Arne Reserve and Brownsea Island. For smaller children, Studland village has a small recreational park, with swings etc. and a football area. The well-stocked village shop (with post office) and pub are within easy walking distance.
