Our holiday home is located just 300 metres from Swanage beach in a prominent position overlooking the Jurassic Coast.
It is a larger than the usual self catering holiday cottages in Dorset, with more space, better equipment and more modern furnishings than is usual in a Swanage holiday cottage.

Your Swanage holiday accommodation includes 3/4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2/3 reception rooms - living room, dining room, playroom, a large garden, patio, balcony, sea views, sleeps 8 in beds plus 2 more on full size double sofabed.
We have an official grading from the tourist authorities as a 3 star holiday cottage. It is much more comortable and spacious than the usual 3 star.
You will find the house free of clutter with modern, brand new IKEA furniture and drowning in storage cupboards and wardrobes. It is large and works well for family and sociable holidays or weekend breaks.
Weekend and short break bookings are possible with 3 and 4 night short breaks available between October and April.
It can very comfortably accommodate 10 people and a baby with a maximum of 6 adults and lots of children. It even has its own playroom, playstation and a selection of toys and games, a TV and video just for the kids.
Having been on self catering holidays where the cleaner had cleared the holiday cottage and we had to go and buy salt, washing up liquid etc., we resolved to try and make things easier for our guests. You will find the beds made up when you arrive, a supply of towels and we always leave the house with stocks of cleaning materials, loo rolls, tea, coffee and biscuits as well as basic condiments.
The Coop is only 5 minutes walk and has a great selection of everything you might need. It is also open from 8 am to 8 pm everyday except Sunday when it is open from 10 am to 4 pm.

Local activities in and around Swanage, South
Swanage Beach You can walk there with all a traditional Punch and Judy show as well as cafes, ice cream, amusements and shops nearby. Studland beaches These are the “best” beaches in the area for sand, beauty and ambience. Durlston Country Park You can walk here from the house it will take about 1 hour. There is a weird pub The Castle, the Globe a lighthouse and numerous spectacular cliff walks. Dancing Ledge an old quarry dug into the cliffs with spectacular ledges a natural swimming pool and popular with rock climbers. Chapmans Pool is difficult to reach, but quiet and stunning when you get there. The whole cove is strewn with fossils. Kimmeridge is a popular fossil hunting site and rocky cove where you can get your car directly to the cliffs. Lulworth Cove is very special and very popular. It is also worth walking up to Stair hole.
There is also the castle with numerous events taking place during the holidays. Durdle Door This is the most photographed bit of coastal scenery in Dorset, so you will not be alone when you go. Brownsea Island makes a varied day out visitng a nature reserve, beaches, a boat trip and seing red squirrels.

Monkey World
This is great. It is a sanctuary for Monkeys rescued from various forms of neglect or mistreatment a fun day out. (01929) 462537

Good for a wet day, since it is mostly indoors although the tank displays are the most exciting feature and they take place outside. (01929) 405096
